No shocking result in a game when first ranked Titans (15-7) crushed 5th ranked Jackals (3-18) in Jamestown 136-113 on Wednesday. KW Titans dominated down low during the game scoring 102 of its points in the paint compared to Jackals's 78. KW Titans looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American players dominated also this game. The winners were led by forward Tyshon Pickett (201-1991, college: Bradley) who scored that evening 21 points and 6 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) and point guard James Towns (178-1998, college: Niagara) supported him with 24 points (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field). Titans' coach felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 43 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds by Dane Miller (203-1990, college: Rutgers) did not help to save the game for Lake Erie. Zachery Hudson (203-1997, college: CBC) added 14 points and 12 rebounds. Five KW Titans and four Lake Erie players scored in double figures. Titans have a solid four-game winning streak. KW Titans maintains first position with 15-7 record. Lake Erie lost ninth consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with 18 games lost. KW Titans will meet league's second-placed Sudbury F. in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Lake Erie will play against Montreal T. and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Dane Miller put on a remarkable display on the court, scoring an impressive 43 points, grabbing 9 rebounds, and dishing out 2 assists against the KW Titans. Despite his outstanding performance, his team was unable to secure the win. Miller's exceptional showing earned him an Elite Badge from eurobasket.com.
