Sixth-rankedJackals (8-11) were very close to win a game against fourth ranked London Lightning (12-13) on Tuesday. London Lightning managed to secure only three-point victory 100-97 . However their fans expected easier game. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when London made 9 blocks. American players dominated the game. Billy White (203-1989, college: SDSU) notched a double-double by scoring 27 points and 16 rebounds to lead the effort and point guard Jaylon Tate (190-1995, college: Illinois, agency: BIG) supported him with 25 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Even 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists by point guard Devante Jamison (173, college: FDU) did not help to save the game for Jamestown . Forward Tyshon Pickett (201-1991, college: Bradley) added 17 points and 6 rebounds for lost side. Four London and five Jamestown players scored in double figures. Jackals' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total twelve players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. London maintains fourth position with 12-13 record. Loser Jackals dropped to the seventh place with 11 games lost.
