Regular Season Round 20: KW Titans - Jamestown J. 119-123

Very important is a home loss of third ranked Titans (16-8) against sixth ranked Jackals (8-9) on Sunday night. Host Titans were defeated by Jackals in a tough game in Kitchener 119-123. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Titans. Jamestown made 41-of-51 free shots (80.4 percent) during the game. Americans were the main players on the court also this time. The best player for the winners was point guard Devante Jamison (173, college: FDU) who scored 21 points and 9 assists. Point guard Derrick Colter (180-1994, college: Duquesne, agency: Players Group) chipped in 24 points. Forward Jaquan Lightfoot (203, college: Southeastern) produced 32 points and 7 rebounds and swingman Sam Akano (196-1993, college: TxWes) added 25 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for the hosts. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Jamestown moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Pontiac P. Loser Titans keep the third position with eight games lost. Jamestown will meet at home Newfoundland R. (#7) in the next round. KW Titans will play against Newfoundland R. (#7) and hope to secure a win.
