The game had a very big importance for second-rankedLondon Lightning as it allowed them to take a leadership position. London Lightning defeated 3rd ranked Rogues at home 100-90 . London made 28-of-32 free shots (87.5 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American Billy White (203-1989, college: SDSU) who helped to win the game recording 30 points and 7 rebounds and guard Marcus Ottey (188-1997, college: UIC) who added 20 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. American guard Tarkus Ferguson (193-1995, college: UIC) responded with a double-double by scoring 27 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists and his fellow American import guard Zaahir Woody (188-1999, college: Morris CC) scored 16 points. Four Newfoundland R. players scored in double figures. Rogues' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Newfoundland R. at the other side dropped to the fourth place with four games lost.
