The game between closely ranked teams ended with 6th rankedJackals ' (1-2) road loss to fifth ranked Pharaohs (3-2) 99-108 on Saturday. Pontiac P. made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. Strangely Jamestown outrebounded Pontiac P. 56-40 including a 24-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Pontiac P. looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Pontiac P. made 12 blocks. American players dominated the game. Guard Khalil Gracey (196, college: Rochester, MI) scored 35 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and point guard James Towns (178-1998, college: Niagara) chipped in 20 points, 8 rebounds, 12 assists and 5 steals during the contest. The best for the losing side was point guard Devante Jamison (173, college: FDU) with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists and center Davin Miller (211, college: Thomas Univ.) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds. Five Pontiac P. and four Jamestown players scored in double figures. Jackals' coach tested eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Pontiac P. moved-up to third place, which they share with Newfoundland R. Loser Jackals dropped to the seventh position with two games lost.
