Very important is a road loss of first rankedTitans (3-2) against leader Jackals (1-0) on Sunday night. Visiting Titans were defeated by Jackals in Jamestown 123-112 . It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Titans. Jamestown forced 20 KW Titans turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Americans were the main players on the court. The best player for the winners was point guard Derrick Colter (180-1994, college: Duquesne, agency: Players Group) who scored 33 points (!!!). Forward Tafari Beckford (196-1995, college: Davenport) chipped in a double-double by scoring 17 points, 16 rebounds and 6 assists. Beckford is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Jackals' coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Dominick Welch (196-1998, college: Alabama) produced a double-double by scoring 23 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Jordan Burns (188-1997, college: Colgate) added 23 points and 6 assists respectively for the guests. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Jackals left bottom position moving up to sixth place. Loser Titans still keep top position with two games lost.
