Raleigh Revolt claim second straight title - May 23, 2016

For the second year in a row The Eastern Conference champion, Raleigh Revolt, and Western Conference champion, Charlotte Elite, faced off with TRBL championship as the prize. For the second year in a row, Raleigh proved to be the better team, beating the Elite 112-109 and bringing an impressive 2016 season to a close.
The defending champions, the Raleigh Revolt, come into the game having only lost once this season against the visiting Auburn Pro-Elite. That loss brought to an end a 17 game winning streak for the Revolt that started last season. The Charlotte Elite have posted a 10-7 record coming into the championship, but just as last year, the Elite are playing their best ball at the end of the season. The Elite won a close semi-final game against Huntersville to get to the championship.Raleigh had an easier playoff game against the Greensboro Cobras in the semis.
