Round 2 (Regular Season): Blue Checks defeat FoGA

There were only 2 rounds played so far and it's still very beginning of the Regular Season in OTE. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Fear of God Athletics on the court of Blue Checks on Saturday night. Visitors were rolled over by Blue Checks 109-79. Blue Checks dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Fear of God Athletics's 36. Blue Checks forced 21 FoGA turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Blue Checks made 50 blocks. orchestrated the victory with a triple-double by scoring 47 points (!!!), 11 rebounds, 7 assists and 11 blocks. contributed with 16 points, 11 rebounds and 11 blocks for the winners. Cayden Daughtry replied with 23 points and 9 assists for FoGA. Fear of God Athletics' coach gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Blue Checks are looking forward to face YNG Dreamerz in Atlanta in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Fear of God Athletics will play against Diamond Doves and are hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Atlanta: Dreamerz and Cold Hearts. Cold Hearts were defeated at home 92-106 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. had a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!) and 13 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Kmajay Jenkins chipped in 14 points, 20 rebounds and 20 blocks during the contest. Adam Oumiddoch responded with 28 points, 5 rebounds and 5 blocks. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Dreamerz will play against Blue Checks in the next round. Cold Hearts will have a break next round.

In the last game of round 2 FaZe beat RWE on the road 76-71.



RWE - FaZe 71-76

No shocking result in a game when FaZe beat on the road RWE 76-71. FaZe brought some defensive toughness making 38 blocks. scored 23 points, 6 rebounds and 6 blocks to lead the charge for the winners and chipped in 13 points, 5 rebounds and 5 blocks during the contest. Taylen Kinney responded with 16 points and Tyran Frazier scored 10 points, 7 rebounds and 7 blocks. Five RWE players scored in double figures. FaZe will play against City Reapers in Atlanta in the next round where they are favorite. RWE will have a break next round.

Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Atlanta: Dreamerz and Cold Hearts. Cold Hearts were defeated at home 92-106 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. YNG Dreamerz made 26-of-30 charity shots (86.7 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Dreamerz brought some defensive toughness making 39 blocks.
