Denver Nuggets (NBA) signed 24-year old international swingman David Roddy (6'5''-255lbs-2001, college: Colorado State). He started the season at Raptors 905 Mississauga. In 36 NBA G League games he had 12.5ppg, 5.9rpg and 3.8apg. Last season he played at the Rockets. He also played for Valley Vipers earlier that season. The other teams he played briefly for were the 76ers, Blue Coats, and the Hawks.
In 2022, he was drafted by the Philadelphia 76ers in the first round (23rd overall). Roddy graduated from Colorado State, and it is his fourth season in pro basketball. He was called to the USA Senior National Team this year.
Roddy has played previously for six other teams: Atlanta Hawks, Phoenix Suns, Memphis Grizzlies, Delaware Blue Coats, Memphis Hustle, and Phoenix Suns.
Among many awards, his team made it to the NBA Cup Final Four in 2025. He was voted USBWA All-District VIII Player of the Year, MWC All-Tournament Team, and was selected to USBWA All-America Honorable Mention back in 2022 during his college time.
