Houston Rockets (NBA) tabbed 24-year old 6-5 forward Jeenathan Williams (college: Buffalo) on a training camp deal. Williams played this summer at Portland Trail Blazers. In three NBA Summer League games just recently he averaged only 2.7ppg and 2.3rpg. He ended 22-23 season at the Trail Blazers where in 5 NBA Summer League games he had 10.6ppg, 3.0rpg and 2.0apg. But the most of that year he spent at Stars. In 51 NBA Summer League games he recorded 12.3ppg, 3.5rpg and 1.8apg.
Williams has never been drafted by the NBA.
He graduated from University of Buffalo in 2022 and it will be his second season in pro basketball.
