The Rockets land Pierria Henry

Houston Rockets (NBA) landed 29-year old Senegalese-American international 6-4 point guard Pierria Henry (college: Charlotte). He played this summer at Washington Wizards. He managed to play in three leagues in two countries last year (!!!). In four NBA Summer League games just recently he averaged only 2.5ppg, 1.8rpg and 3.8apg. The last season he played at Fenerbahce in Turkish BSL where in 30 NBA Summer League games he had 8.5ppg, 2.7rpg, 5.9apg and 1.7spg (in top 2). Henry helped them to win the Turkish League title. He also played 28 games in Euroleague where he recorded 7.9ppg, 3.4rpg, 4.2apg and 1.8spg.
Henry has never been drafted by the NBA. He has been regularly called to Senegalese Senior National Team since 2021.
Henry is a very experienced player. He has played also professionally in Georgia (Vita Tbilisi), Germany (ratiopharm Ulm), Israel (Hapoel Eilat), Russia (Unics), Spain (Baskonia), Turkey (Tofas) and The Basketball Tournament (W.Virginia W.). Henry was voted to C-USA All-Defensive Team back in 2014 and 2015.
He graduated from University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2015 and it will be his eighth season in pro basketball.
