The Rockets waived Armoni Brooks

Houston Rockets (NBA) waived 23-year old guard Armoni Brooks (6'3''-194lbs-98, college: Houston). In 41 NBA games he recorded 6.2ppg, 2.0rpg and 1.2apg this season. Brooks also played for the Rockets earlier that season.
He has never been drafted by the NBA. But in 2021 Rio Grande Valley Vipers voted him in first round (10th overall) in the G-League draft.
Brooks attended University of Houston until 2019 and it is his third season in pro basketball.
He is quite experienced player. Thanks to Brooks' pro career he managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Australia and of course North America) in five different countries. Brooks has played previously professionally in Canada (Saskatchewan), France (Entente Orleans 45), New Zealand (Huskies), other NBA teams (Atlanta Hawks) and NBA G League (College Park SkyHawks).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others his team won AAC Regular Season in 2019. He was selected to NABC NCAA D1 All-District 25 2nd Team back in 2019 at his college time.
