Boston Celtics waived 23-year old forward Yante Maten (203-109kg-96, college: Georgia).
Maten has never been drafted by the NBA.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others his team made it to the SEC Tournament Semifinals for two years in a row (2015 and 2016). Maten was also voted USBWA All-District IV Player of the Year in 2018 at his college time.
Maten has played previously for Sioux Falls Skyforce.
He attended University of Georgia until 2018 and it is his second season as a professional player.
