Oct 16th, DFW Just Hoops would take on The Texas Tsunami in Ft Worth, TX at Arlington Heighs High School.
Just Hoops would go on to defeat The Tsunami (136-131) in a close back and forth contest.
DFW Just Hoops was lead by returning guard Jordon Myers (6'4''-SG-98) in his MBL Regular season debut. Jordon Myers had 31 points, 14 rebounds, & 5 assist in the win for Just Hoops. Jordon Myers shot 13/22 TFG, 1/3 from three, and 4/4 FT. Jordon Myers started out hot offensively totaling 15 points in the first quarter alone.
Wolf Rabb (6'5''-F/G-87, college: Midwestern St., agency: PBAplayers Agency) had a huge double-double in the Win for Just Hoops picking up where he left off the previous week doing a little bit of everything on both ends of the floor to help the team come out on top. Wolf Rabb finished the game with 30 points, 15 rebounds, 4 assist, & 3 steals. Wolf Rabb shot 9/20 TFG, 2/8 from three, and 10/13 FT.
Also for Just Hoops, Jonathan Milligan (6'2''-G-93, college: Pittsburgh) once again had another very efficient performance. Jonathan Milligan finished with 28 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assist, & 2 steals. Jonathan Milligan shot 10/16 TFG, 3/8 from three, and 5/6 FT. Jonathan Milligan currently leads The Just Hoops team in FG % and 3-point % thus far.
Steven McDonald (5'10''-PG, agency: PBAplayers Agency) had a near triple-double for DFW Just Hoops in the win. Steven McDonald finished with 26 points, 11 rebounds, 9 assist, & 5 steals. Steven McDonald leads the team in Steals & Assist and looks to lead the league in those categories as he continues to help Just Hoops in everyway he can on both ends of the floor.
Steven McDonald shot 8/20 TFG, 2/7 from three, and 8/13 FT.
DFW Just Hoops in their win versus Texas Tsunami also got huge contributions from key role players and players coming off the bench.
Champion Grayson (F) had a really good game and finished the game out late in the fourth quarter ; Champion Grayson had 7 points, 9 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, & 2 blocks on 3/5 TFG and 1/2 FT.
Also Demmery Simon (C) had 8 points, 4 rebounds, & 2 assist on 4/8 TFG, making his presence felt inside.
Keyunta Watkins (5'8''-PG, college: SAGU) finished with 2 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assist, & 2 steals for Just Hoops doing a little bit of everything playing in the time he had on the court.
For The Texas Tsunami, they were led by Eric Tisby (5'8''-PG-88, college: Sioux Falls) who finished with 29 points and knocked down 8 3-pointers throughout the game. The Veteran Eric Tisby was on fire from deep and in the 4th quarter he scored 15 points alone and did everything he could to help give his team the win.
Also for Texas Tsunami, Dominick Brown (F) had 27 points , 22 of which were in the 2nd half.
Semar Farris (5'5''-PG, college: MACU) also had a big game with 23 points.
Robert Williams started out hot in the loss for Texas Tsunami hitting 6 3-pointers in the first half, scoring 20 total points. Robert Williams would go scoreless in the second half despite an incredible first half.
