We bring you last week's top former Mavericks players who are currently playing in pro basketball.



   #1. Tyrel Morgan, a 25-year-old forward standing at 6'5'' who graduated from Texas St. in 2025, began his basketball journey playing for NOC-Tonkawa between 2019 and 2021. During his time there, he played a crucial role in helping them secure the NJCAA D1 South Central District Champion title in 2021. Currently, Morgan is showcasing his skills as a professional player in Germany. In a recent game, Morgan contributed significantly to Bozic Estriche Knights Kirchheim's victory against the closely-ranked Giessen 46ers with a score of 89-85 in the German BARMER 2. Basketball Bundesliga ProA, the second division. He displayed his versatility on the court, recording 8 points and making 4 assists in just 24 minutes of play. Despite this being his first season with the team, Morgan has already made a strong impact. Bozic Estriche Knights Kirchheim, with a record of 20-14, currently holds the sixth position in the league standings. In a standout performance against the Giessen 46ers, Morgan showcased his skills by contributing 8 points, 3 rebounds, and 4 assists. His exceptional play was pivotal in securing the victory for his team, ultimately leading them to triumph as the champion of the game. Throughout the current season, Morgan has maintained solid averages of 8.7 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game in the 30 games he has played so far. His consistent contributions on both ends of the court have been instrumental in his team's success, positioning him as a key player for Bozic Estriche Knights Kirchheim.

   #2. Puerto Rican player GianFranco Grafals, standing at 6'4'' and a Sharks alumnus from 2024, previously playing in NOC-Tonkawa between 2019 and 2020, showcased his skills in the Puerto Rican Baloncesto Superior Nacional. He contributed to Mets de Guaynabo's impressive 94-90 victory over the third-ranked Gigantes on a Friday night. Despite only scoring 2 points in 2 minutes on the court, Grafals' presence was felt on the team. Currently, Mets de Guaynabo holds the fourth position in Group B with a record of 12-11. Grafals played a crucial role in a previous game against Carolina, scoring 2 points that led his team to a significant victory, ultimately securing their place as the champion. Throughout the season, Grafals has maintained an average of 2.1 points per game in the 18 games he has played.
