Here is the weekly review of the top performing Hurricanes alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.

#1. Tariq Felder, a 6'5'' guard who graduated from Nova CC in 2017 but previously played for Louisburg JC between 2014 and 2015 where he helped them reach the final of the NJCAA D2 District VI, is currently playing professionally in the TBL. In a recent game last Thursday, Felder, despite his impressive performance, was unable to prevent the DC Heat (14-5) from suffering a 116-106 defeat on the road against the Tri-City Tide. Felder showcased his exceptional skills on the court by recording a double-double with 21 points, 15 rebounds, and 5 assists in 36 minutes of play. His remarkable display earned him the Triple-Double Badge from eurobasket.com, highlighting his prowess as a champion player. Despite his standout performance, his team ultimately fell short in securing the victory. Throughout this season, Felder has been averaging 8.6 points, 6.8 rebounds, 5.5 assists, and 1.8 steals per game, further solidifying his reputation as a finalist player in the league.

#2. Brayden Smith, a 6'2'' guard and Hurricanes alumnus from 2025, currently playing professionally in Australia, made a significant contribution to Warrandyte Venom's victory over the league outsider Devils with a score of 104-86 in the Australian Big V Conference, which is the third division, on Saturday night. Despite scoring only 2 points in 7 minutes on the court, Smith's presence was felt on the team. Warrandyte Venom, with a current record of 5-6, holds the eighth position in the league standings. In another match against Wyndham, Brayden Smith showcased his skills by scoring 2 points, grabbing 1 rebound, and providing 1 assist, ultimately aiding his team in securing the win and advancing as the finalist. Throughout this season, Smith has been averaging 2.2 points per game and 2.8 rebounds per game, demonstrating his consistent performance on the court.
