We bring you last week's top former Lakers players who are currently playing in pro basketball.
#1. Josh Jefferson, a 6'2'' guard who graduated from MTSU in 2022, showcased his skills in a recent game for Nevezis. Despite his stellar performance, Nevezis, currently with an 8-17 record, fell short in a close 90-89 defeat on the road against Jonava, who are ranked at #9 in the league.
Jefferson, the team's top scorer, contributed 20 points and displayed his playmaking ability with 5 assists while maintaining a perfect free-throw shooting record, making all seven of his attempts in just 27 minutes of play. His efforts were commendable, but unfortunately, Nevezis couldn't secure the victory in the end.
Throughout the season, Jefferson has been consistently delivering strong individual performances, averaging 19.3 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 4.8 assists per game in the six games he has participated in so far. Despite the team's struggles, Jefferson continues to shine as a standout player for Nevezis in the Lithuanian league.
