Every week we bring you a list of the top former Bobcat players who continue their career in pro basketball.
#1. Bryce Jones (6'0''-PG-1994, played in 2014-15, plays pro in Greece) led his Greek team Aris Midea to a victory over the closely-ranked WKS Slask (2-4) 85-78 in the Eurocup in Wednesday night's game.
Jones was MVP of the game. He scored 28 points (!!!) and added 5 passes in 27 minutes.
Aris Midea Thessaloniki (3-3) is placed sixth in the Eurocup.
It was his team's first victory after three consecutive loses.
But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen.
It's Jones' first year with the team.
Jones has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 17.2ppg, 2.8rpg, 4.0apg and 1.2spg in six games he played so far.
Worth to mention he played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.
#2. Tristin Walley (6'7''-F-1996, played in 2015-17, plays in Luxembourg). He could not help Musel Pikes (3-4) to beat Etzella (5-2) in the Luxembourg LBBL.
Walley recorded 7 points and grabbed 9 rebounds.
Musel Pikes was crushed113-67 on the road by the higher-ranked Etzella (#3).
It was Musel Pikes' third consecutive loss in a row.
But the season just started, so everything may happen.
This year Walley has very high stats. He averages 17.3ppg, 11.0rpg, 3.3apg, 1.9bpg and 2.0spg.
#3. Tradavis Thompson (6'2''-G-2000, played in 2019-21, currently in Brazil) was the main contributor in a Pato Basquete's victory against the league outsider Vasco (0-7) 70-65 in the Brazilian NBB on Tuesday night.
He was MVP of the game. Thompson scored 18 points, made 3 passes and 3 steals in 27 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his second season in pro basketball. Pato Basquete (1-4) is placed 16th in the NBB.
It was his team's first victory after four consecutive loses.
But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen.
It's Thompson's first year with the team.
Thompson has very impressive stats this season 17.0ppg, 2.4rpg and 2.2apg in five games.
