We bring you last week's top former Hawks players who are currently playing in pro basketball.


   #1. Rob Gray (6'1''-G-1994, played in 2013-15, plays pro in Greece) could not help one of league's weakest teams Promitheas (2-1) in their last game. Despite his very good performance Promitheas was badly defeated98-79 on the road by the leading Rytas. Gray was the second best scorer with 17 points in 30 minutes. There are only three games left until the end of the Basketball Champions League Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Gray has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 18.5ppg, 1.5rpg, 3.0apg and 3.0spg in two games he played so far.

   #2. Jack Pagenkopf (6'3''-PG-1997, played in 2017-18, plays in Bulgaria) was not able to help Balkan (1-0) in their last game on Sunday. Despite his good performance Balkan was defeated 78-70 in Pleven by the lower-ranked Spartak (#3). Pagenkopf scored 11 points, had 7 rebounds and dished 8 assists (went 6 for 6 at the free throw line). But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. Pagenkopf has relatively good stats this year 11.7ppg, 5.7rpg, 6.3apg and 2.0spg.

   #3. Jakub Niziol (6'7''-F-1996, played in 2015-16, currently in Poland) was not able to secure a victory for WKS Slask Wroclaw (2-2) in their game against Hapoel Jerusalem (2-2) in the Eurocup, despite his very good performance last Tuesday. Niziol was the second best scorer with 15 points. He also added 3 passes (made all of his six free throws) in 27 minutes. But WKS Slask Wroclaw was badly defeated86-69 in Jerusalem by the higher-ranked (#4) Hapoel. But the season just started, so everything may happen. Niziol has relatively good stats this year 13.0ppg, 4.5rpg, 3.5apg and 1.3spg in four games.

   #4. Eric Reed Jr (6'4''-SG-2000, played in 2018-20, plays pro in Germany) couldn't help Veolia Towers Hamburg (0-4) in their game against Neptunas (1-2) in the Eurocup. Despite his very good performance on Tuesday night He was the second best scorer with 17 points. But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen. It's Reed Jr's first year with the team. This season Reed Jr has very high stats. He averages 16.0ppg, 1.3rpg and 1.5spg.

   #5. Andrija Blatancic (6'8''-F-1995, played in 2017-18, plays in Bulgaria) couldn't help Shumen (2-0) in their game against Lokomotiv Plovdiv (1-2) in the Bulgarian NBL, despite his very good performance in Saturday night's game. He was the top scorer with 15 points. Blatancic also added 8 boards, passed 3 assists and added 3 steals in 30 minutes. But the league leader Shumen was crushed96-59 in Plovdiv by the lower-ranked (#7) Lokomotiv. But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen. Blatancic has relatively good stats this year 14.5ppg, 4.5rpg, 2.0apg and 3.0spg in two games. He has also Croatian citizenship.

   #6. Tsotne Tsartsidze (6'9''-F-2000, played in 2019-20, currently in Iceland) led IR to a 2-point victory against the tenth-ranked Stjarnan 93-91 in the Icelandic Subway League on Friday night. Tsartsidze recorded 14 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. Tsartsidze has relatively good stats this season 12.5ppg and 4.0rpg.

   #7. Will Ellis (6'2''-G-1999, played in 2019-21, plays pro in Germany) couldn't help PS Karlsruhe Lions in their game against 46ers in the German ProA (second division). He recorded 9 points in 18 minutes. His team was badly defeated by 20 points 94-74. Ellis has relatively good stats this year 11.0ppg, 2.3rpg and 2.0apg in three games. He is a naturalized Jamaican.
