We bring you last week's top former Bears players who are currently playing in pro basketball.

   #1. Erik Thomas (6'5''-PF-1995, played in 2014-15, plays pro in Mexico) could not help Panteras de Aguascalientes (12-4) in their game last Monday. Despite his very good performance Panteras de Aguascalientes was badly defeated100-83 on the road by the lower-ranked Fuerza Regia (#4). Thomas was the top scorer with 22 points. He also added 4 rebounds, 3 assists and 4 steals in 31 minutes. It's Thomas' first season with the team. Thomas has relatively good stats this year 14.3ppg, 7.9rpg, 3.0apg and 1.3spg. He is a naturalized Argentinian.

   #2. Jayhlon Young (6'2''-PG-2002, played in 2020-22, plays in Czech Republic) was not able to help Usti n/Labem in their game against Opava (2-2) in the Czech Republic NBL. He scored 9 points and added 3 passes. But Usti n/Labem lost 81-85 on the opponent's court to the higher-ranked (#6) Opava. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. This year Young averages 9.2ppg, 3.7rpg and 2.7apg in six games he played so far.

   #3. Julius Ellerbe (6'7''-G-2001, played in 2020-22, currently in North Macedonia), who plays in the North Macedonian Prva Liga was not able to secure a victory for Gostivar in their game last Tuesday. Despite Ellerbe's good performance Gostivar was edged73-72 in Gevgelija by the lower-ranked Kozuv (#5). He scored 10 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 23 minutes. It's Ellerbe's first season with the team. This year Ellerbe averages 9.0ppg, 4.0rpg and 1.7spg.

   #4. Makye Richards (6'2''-G, played in 2017-18, plays pro in Lebanon) led NSA to a victory over the league outsider Tadamon (0-2) 92-86 in the Lebanese DLBL on Thursday night. Richards was MVP of the game. He scored 24 points, grabbed 8 boards, handed out 6 passes and blocked 3 shots. Nadim Souaid Academy (2-0) is placed second in the DLBL. The Regular Season already ended. Richards has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 23.5ppg, 6.0rpg, 7.5apg, 1.5bpg and 2.0spg in two games.
