EuroBasket Pro Lions Weekly Update

Here is the weekly review of the top performing Lions alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.

   #1. Chris Rollins (6'6''-F-1999, played in 2017-19, plays pro in Austria) led BC Raiffeisen Flyers Wels to a 2-point victory over the closely-ranked BC Vienna (3-2) 73-71 in the Austrian BSL in Monday night's game. He was MVP of the game. Rollins scored 27 points (!!!), grabbed 9 rebounds and made 3 blocks in 25 minutes. BC Raiffeisen Flyers Wels (3-1) are placed third in the BSL. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. Rollins has relatively good stats this year 13.8ppg, 5.6rpg and 1.4apg in five games he played so far.

   #2. Lee Moore (6'5''-G-1995, played in 2013-15, plays in Italy) could not help Fortitudo BO (0-4) in their last game on Sunday. Despite Moore's good performance Fortitudo BO was defeated 68-58 on the road by the much lower-ranked Juvi Cremona (#11). He was the top scorer with 13 points (went 5 for 5 at the free throw line). But the season just started, so everything may happen. It's Moore's first year with the team. Moore has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 18.0ppg, 3.7rpg, 4.3apg and 1.2spg.

   #3. Tremere Brown (6'8''-F-2000, played in 2021-21, currently in Germany), who plays in the German Regionalliga (fourth division) was not able to help Team Ehingen Urspring (2-2) in their last game. Despite his very good performance the fifth-placed Team Ehingen Urspring (2-2) lost 78-85 on the opponent's court to the higher-ranked (#4) Reutlingen in the South-West group. Brown was the top scorer with 24 points. He also added 6 rebounds in 27 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Brown's second season in pro basketball. But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen. Brown has very impressive stats this year 15.5ppg, 8.0rpg and 1.3spg in four games.

   #4. Bernie Andre (6'6''-SF-1997, played in 2017-18, plays pro in Czech Republic) was not able to secure a victory for Olomoucko (3-3) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Andre's good performance Olomoucko was defeated 82-69 at home by the one of league's weakest teams USK Praha (#11). He scored 10 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen. It's Andre's first year with the team. Andre has relatively good stats this season 13.0ppg, 5.8rpg, 2.2apg and 2.2spg.

   #5. Zion Williams (6'4''-G-1998, played in 2018-19, plays in Spain) led Moron to a victory against the 13th-ranked LBC Cocinas (0-3) 89-78 in the Spanish Segunda FEB (third division) last Sunday. He scored 13 points in 29 minutes. Starlabs CB Moron (2-1) is placed fifth in West group. But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen. Williams has relatively good stats this year 10.3ppg and 3.0rpg in three games. Worth to mention Williams played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.

   #6. Markise Davis (6'7''-G/F-2000, played in 2018-20, currently in Dominican Republic) was the major contributor in Immortals' victory against the fifth-ranked Bonao 99-92 in the Dominican Rep. LDC (fourth division) on Friday night. Davis scored 18 points, grabbed 8 boards, handed out 3 passes and blocked 2 shots. This season Davis has very high stats. He averages 20.3ppg, 7.3rpg, 3.3apg, 1.5bpg and 2.3spg.
