EuroBasket Pro Eagles Weekly Update

Here is the weekly review of the top performing Eagles alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.



   #1. Keenon Cole (6'7''-F-2000, played in 2021-22, plays pro in Czech Republic) could not help the league outsider NH Ostrava (0-5) in their last game. Despite his very good performance the bottom-ranked NH Ostrava lost 86-101 on the road to the higher-ranked (#9) Opava. Cole had a double-double by scoring 21 points and getting 11 rebounds in 30 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his second season in pro basketball. So far NH Ostrava lost all five games in the Regular Season. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. This year Cole averages 10.0ppg and 4.3rpg in four games he played so far.

   #2. Tohi Smith-Milner (6'9''-F-1995, played in 2012-15, plays in Australia) was not able to help Brisbane Bullets (2-4) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Smith-Milner's good performance Brisbane Bullets were crushed116-89 in Wollongong by the one of league's weakest teams Hawks (#9). He scored 11 points. But the season just started, so everything may happen. This year Smith-Milner averages 4.7ppg, 4.2rpg and 1.8apg.

   #3. Tommie Lewis (6'2''-G-2001, played in 2019-22, currently in Austria), who plays in the Austrian BSL was not able to secure a victory for CITIES Panthers Furstenfeld (0-3) in their last game. Despite his good performance the bottom-ranked CITIES Panthers Furstenfeld lost 73-78 in Wels to the second-ranked Raiffeisen Flyers. Lewis scored 10 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in 33 minutes. So far CITIES Panthers Furstenfeld lost all three games in the Regular Season. But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen. Lewis has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 16.0ppg, 5.7rpg and 1.7spg in three games.

   #4. Dejan Ilincic (6'11''-PF-1999, played in 2019-20, plays pro in Spain) contributed to an easy victory against the eighth-ranked Castello (1-1) crushing them 100-80 in the Spanish Segunda FEB (third division) in Sunday night's game. He scored 7 points. Proinbeni Units Pel Basquet Gandia (2-0) is placed third in East group. But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen. It's Ilincic's first year with the team. This season Ilincic averages 9.0ppg and 4.0rpg.

   #5. Bernat Vanaclocha (6'11''-C-1998, played in 2018-20, plays in Spain) contributed to Albacete's victory against the 11th-ranked Mataro UE (0-2) 93-79 in the Spanish Segunda FEB (third division) last Saturday. He scored 6 points in only 10 minutes. Bueno Arenas Albacete Basket (2-0) is placed first in East group. But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen. It's Vanaclocha's first year with the team. This season Vanaclocha averages 9.0ppg and 1.5spg in two games.

TK Smith (6'5''-G-1998, played in 2018-20) played for Aktobe in Kazakhstan National League
Jean-Remy Esor (6'7''-C/F-1994, played in 2011-15) played for Monaco 2 in French NM3
