Here is the weekly review of the top performing Riverhawks alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.
#1. Luka Suster (6'5''-G-2001, played in 2021-22, plays pro in Serbia). He could not help Dunav SB (1-2) to beat Sloven (1-2) in the Serbian 2MLS (second division).
Suster scored only 4 points in 17 minutes.
Dunav SB was defeated 93-85 at home by the lower-ranked Sloven (#12).
But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen.
It's Suster's first year with the team.
This season he averages 7.0ppg and 2.0rpg.
#2. Hyrum Harris (6'9''-F-1996, played in 2012-16, plays in Japan) led Kanazawa Samuraiz to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Veertien Mie (1-3) 79-64 in the Japanese B3 League in Saturday night's game.
Harris scored 12 points, made 3 passes and 3 steals.
Kanazawa Samuraiz (2-4) is placed ninth in the B3 League.
But the season just started, so everything may happen.
It's Harris' first year with the team.
He has relatively good stats this season 12.7ppg, 10.2rpg, 4.8apg and 2.3spg in six games he played so far.
#3. Dante Sofia (6'9''-F, played in 2020-22, currently in United Kingdom) contributed to Liverpool's victory against the ninth-ranked Sheffield Sharks 2nd team (1-2) 80-69 in the British NBL D1 (third division) last Saturday.
Sofia scored 8 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 27 minutes.
Liverpool Basketball (2-1) is placed seventh in Group A.
But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen.
It's Sofia's first year with the team.
He has relatively good stats this season 11.3ppg, 7.0rpg, 3.0apg and 2.3spg.
