Every week we bring you a list of the top former Rebels players who continue their career in pro basketball.



   #1. Experienced Angok Deng (6'8''-F-1992, played in 2012-14, plays pro in Egypt) was the major contributor in an Al Ittihad Alexandria's victory against the closely-ranked Stade (0-6) crushing them 91-68 in the Basketball Africa League on Thursday night. He scored 15 points, grabbed 9 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 27 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Al Ittihad Alexandria (6-0) is placed first in the Basketball Africa League. So far his team won all six games in the Regular Season. The Regular Season already ended in the Basketball Africa League. This season Deng averages 9.5ppg, 4.7rpg and 1.3apg. He has also Australian nationality.

   #2. Jamal Jones (6'8''-SF-1993, played in 2012-13, plays in Russia) led his Russian team Avtodor to an easy victory against the closely-ranked MBA Moscow (15-29) 88-69 in the VTB United League in Sunday night's game. Jones scored 13 points, grabbed 6 rebounds and dished 4 assists. Avtodor Saratov (20-24) is placed sixth in the VTB United League. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. The Regular Season already ended in the VTB United League. Jones has relatively good stats this year 11.5ppg, 4.5rpg and 1.5apg in 41 games he played so far.

   #3. J'Von McCormick (6'0''-PG-1997, played in 2016-18, currently in Qatar) led Al Sadd to a victory against the closely-ranked Al Ahli Sports Club Doha (10-6) 96-86 in a derby game in the Qatari QBL last Monday. McCormick recorded a double-double by scoring 19 points and getting 10 rebounds. He also added 4 assists in 40 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Al Sadd Sports Club Doha (1-2) is placed fourth in the QBL. McCormick has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 18.3ppg, 6.3rpg, 6.1apg and 1.1spg.

   #4. Tony Farmer (6'7''-F-1994, played in 2015-17, plays pro in Venezuela) contributed to Marinos' victory against the seventh-ranked Gladiadores (7-7) 97-91 in the Venezuelan SPB on Tuesday night. He scored 25 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. Marinos de Oriente (9-5) is placed third in the SPB. Farmer has very impressive stats this year 16.0ppg, 6.0rpg and 1.5apg in 12 games.

   #5. Branden Jenkins (6'5''-G/F-1994, played in 2013-16, plays in Croatia) contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Alkar (11-17) 95-78 in the Croatian Premijer Liga in Tuesday night's game. He recorded 14 points in 26 minutes. KK Dubrovnik (8-21) is placed second from the bottom (#11) in the Premijer Liga. This season Jenkins has very high stats. He averages 15.9ppg, 2.6rpg and 1.4apg. Jenkins is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas.

Trahson Burrell (6'7''-F/G-1992, played in 2012-14) plays for Albany Patroons in the TBL
Roc Johnson (6'1''-G-1995, played in 2015-17) played for Fresno Flaming Sun Rays in the ABA last year
Cheikh Ndiaye (6'9''-C, played in 2019-20) played for Mantarrayas de Isla Mujeres in Mexican CBL last year
Vincent Garrett (6'6''-SF-1991, played in 2017-19) played for Chiemgau in German 2.Regionalliga last year
Leroy Isler (6'5''-F-1991, played in 2016-18) played for Got Dat Wurk in the EBA last year
Andre Pierce (6'10''-F/C-1995, played in 2014-17) plays for Al Jubaiha in Jordanian Premier League
Anthony Perez (6'9''-F-1993, played in 2010-11) plays for Gladiadores in Venezuelan SPB
Emmerson Potts-Broughton (6'6''-F-1998, played in 2014-18) plays for Panthers in New Zealand NBL
