Every week we bring you a list of the top former Buccaneers players who continue their career in pro basketball.
#1. Bonke Maring (6'10''-C-2000, played in 2019-21, plays pro in Slovakia) led Komarno to a victory against the second-ranked Inter Bratislava (26-10) 75-71 in the Slovakian Tipos SBL on Saturday night.
He recorded a double-double by scoring 14 points and getting 15 rebounds. Maring also added 2 blocks in 36 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his first season in pro basketball. BC Komarno (17-19) is placed seventh in the Tipos SBL.
Maring has relatively good stats this season 15.0ppg, 9.9rpg, 1.7apg, 1.1bpg and 1.3spg.
#2. Jalan McCloud (5'11''-PG-1995, played in 2013-15, plays in Portugal) contributed to Povoa's victory against the ninth-ranked Vitoria SC (8-12) 81-71 in the Portuguese Liga Betclic in Saturday night's game.
McCloud recorded 10 points, 4 rebounds and 7 assists.
CD Povoa (7-1) is placed first in the Liga Betclic.
There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical.
It's McCloud's first season with the team.
He has individually a very good year with high stats. McCloud averages 17.2ppg, 4.3rpg, 4.2apg and 1.2spg in six games he played so far.
#3. Tristan Ikpe (6'6''-F-1999, played in 2018-20, currently in Kosovo) contributed to Peja's victory against the closely-ranked Ylli (15-13) 77-71 in the Kosovan Superliga last Thursday.
Ikpe recorded 6 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists in 24 minutes.
KB Peja (14-14) is placed fifth in the Superliga.
It's Ikpe's first season with the team.
This year he averages 9.3ppg, 5.2rpg, 2.1apg, 1.2bpg and 1.3spg.
#4. Sanmi Fajana (6'8''-F-2001, played in 2020-22, plays pro in Germany). He could not help BBG Herford (15-13) to beat Loewen (23-4) in the German Regionalliga (fourth division).
Fajana recorded 6 points.
The eighth-placed BBG Herford (15-13) lost 63-78 on the road to the second-ranked Loewen in the West group.
It's Fajana's first season with the team.
He has relatively good stats this year 10.3ppg and 5.8rpg in 22 games.
#5. Trae Barber (6'7''-F-1995, played in 2010-14, plays in the TBL) contributed to an easy victory against the Lake County Legacy (0-9) crushing them 136-115 in the TBL in Friday night's game.
Barber scored 11 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 22 minutes.
The Kokomo Bobkats have a very good 9-1 record this season.
It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row.
This season Barber averages 7.9ppg, 4.3rpg and 1.4apg.
#6. Experienced Felipe Vezaro (6'4''-G-1992, played in 2010-12, currently in Brazil) managed to help Luvix/Uniao Corinthians in a victory against the 16th-ranked Mogi 96-79 in the Brazilian NBB last Friday.
He recorded 5 points.
This year Vezaro averages 4.1ppg and 1.7rpg in 28 games.
