EuroBasket Pro Bucks Weekly Update

Every week we bring you a list of the top former Bucks players who continue their career in pro basketball.



   #1. Perrin Buford (6'6''-F-1994, played in 2012-13, plays pro in Japan) led Shinshu Brave Warriors Nagano to a victory over the seventh-ranked Firebonds (14-42) 90-72 in the Japanese B2 League on Sunday night. He was MVP of the game. Buford recorded a double-double by scoring 37 points and getting 10 rebounds. He also added 7 assists and 3 steals in 37 minutes. Shinshu Brave Warriors Nagano (34-20) is placed third in East group. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Buford has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 18.7ppg, 9.2rpg, 7.0apg and 1.4spg.

   #2. Javion Hamlet (6'4''-G-1998, played in 2016-18, plays in China) could not help the league outsider Tianjin Ronggang Pioneers (0-32) in their last game. Despite his very good performance Tianjin Ronggang Pioneers were badly defeated110-92 on the road by the higher-ranked (#4) Ducks. Hamlet had a double-double by scoring 18 points and making 13 passes. He also added 5 rebounds. So far Tianjin Ronggang Pioneers lost all games in the Regular Season. The Regular Season already ended. Hamlet has relatively good stats this year 12.7ppg, 2.3rpg and 3.7apg in 42 games he played so far.

   #3. Bryce McBride (6'2''-G-2000, played in 2018-19, currently in Lithuania) was the main contributor in Vilkaviskis' victory against the seventh-ranked Zalgiris II (12-10) 80-72 in the Lithuanian NKL (second division) last Monday. McBride was MVP of the game. He recorded a double-double by scoring 19 points and getting 11 rebounds. McBride also added 5 assists in 30 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his second season in pro basketball. Vilkaviskio Perlas (22-15) is placed seventh in Places 1-8 group. It was his team's first victory after three consecutive loses. This season McBride has very high stats. He averages 16.6ppg, 2.6rpg, 2.7apg and 1.5spg.

   #4. Timothy Fortenberry (6'5''-F, played in 2010-11, plays pro in the ECBL) contributed to a Carolina Crusaders' victory against the Garden City Magic (1-3) 111-105 in the ECBL on Sunday night. He recorded 6 points. The Carolina Crusaders have 3-2 record this season. It's Fortenberry's sixth year with the team. This year Fortenberry averages 3.0ppg, 4.2rpg and 1.2apg in five games.

Devante Jones (5'10''-PG-1994, played in 2012-13) played for Chicago Fury in the ABA few monts ago
Dillon Smith (6'2''-G-1996, played in 2016-18) played for Jackson TN Boom in the The Basketball Tournament last year
Josh Greer (6'5''-G-1998, played in 2018-19) played for Jackson TN Boom in the The Basketball Tournament last year
Frederick Lish (5'9''-PG-1988, played in 2009-10) plays for Penang SY in Malaysian MBL
Sean Gardner (6'5''-G-1993, played in 2012-13) played for Texas 7ers in the TBL last year
