EuroBasket Pro Leopards Weekly Update

Here is the weekly review of the top performing Leopards alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.



   #1. Kedrian Johnson (6'3''-G-1999, played in 2018-20, plays pro in United Kingdom) led Bristol Flyers to a victory over the closely-ranked Newcastle Eagles (6-5) 98-94 in the British SLB on Saturday night. He was MVP of the game. Johnson scored 30 points (!!!), grabbed 4 boards, passed 6 assists and added 4 steals in 36 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his second season in pro basketball. Bristol Flyers (3-3) is placed fifth in the SLB. Johnson has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 23.0ppg, 3.8rpg, 3.0apg and 2.2spg.

   #2. KJ Jackson (6'2''-G-1998, played in 2016-18, plays in Hungary) was the main contributor in a Sopron KC's victory against the closely-ranked ZTE KK (9-7) crushing them 91-60 in the Hungarian A Division in Saturday night's game. Jackson was MVP of the game. He recorded 20 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists. Sopron KC (8-7) is placed sixth in the A Division. Jackson has very impressive stats this year 17.7ppg, 4.0rpg, 5.2apg and 1.8spg in nine games he played so far.

   #3. Bryson Etienne (6'3''-G-1999, played in 2018-19, currently in Lithuania), who plays in the Lithuanian NKL (second division) could not help Silute (11-18) in their game last Thursday. Despite Etienne's good performance Silute was defeated 86-80 at home by the leading Telsiai. He recorded 14 points in 23 minutes. Etienne's team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical. This season Etienne averages 5.6ppg and 3.8rpg.

   #4. Eric Terry (6'8''-F-1996, played in 2015-16, plays pro in Malta) was not able to help Valletta Lions (5-7) in their last game. Despite his good performance Valletta Lions was edged85-84 on the road by the second-ranked Luxol. Terry had a double-double by scoring 11 points and getting 10 rebounds. He also added 3 blocks. It was Valletta Lions' third consecutive loss in a row. Terry has very impressive stats this year 18.5ppg, 10.1rpg, 1.7apg, 2.0bpg and 1.2spg in 10 games. Terry is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas.

Joe Jackson (6'6''-F-1995, played in 2013-15) plays for Alamo City All-Stars in the ABA
Chance Gibson (6'4''-G, played in 2010-14) plays for Lonestar Crusaders in the ABA
Jason Holder (6'5''-G, played in 2023-24) plays for NASSA in British NBL D2
Brandon Thompson (6'4''-PF-1992, played in 2013-14) played for Houston Mavericks in the TBA few monts ago
D'Angelo Elliott (6'5''-G, played in 2021-22) plays for LDC Ignite in Dominican Rep. LDC
Terry Johnson (6'8''-SF, played in 2014-16) played for Texas Purple Kings in the ABA last year
