EuroBasket Pro Trojans Weekly Update

Every week we bring you a list of the top former Trojans players who continue their career in pro basketball.



   #1. Boy Van Vliet (6'4''-G-1994, played in 2014-16, plays pro in Holland) contributed to an easy victory against Yoast United crushing them 90-54 in the Dutch DBL in Friday night's game. He scored 8 points and added 7 passes in 24 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Heroes Den Boschis placed third in the DBL. It's Van Vliet's fifth season with the team. This year Van Vliet averages 7.5ppg, 2.5rpg and 7.0apg in two games he played so far.

   #2. Nicholas Wurm (6'0''-PG-1997, played in 2017-18, plays in Australia) could not help Woodville Warriors (3-5) in their last game on Saturday. Despite his very good performance the seventh-placed Woodville Warriors (3-5) were defeated 104-96 on the road by the lower-ranked Central District Lions (#8) in the Central group. Wurm scored 16 points, had 4 rebounds and dished 4 assists. Wurm has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 16.5ppg, 5.4rpg, 4.5apg and 1.8spg.

   #3. Tim Troussel (6'8''-PF-1995, played in 2016-17, currently in Germany), who plays in the German Regionalliga (fourth division) was not able to help ETB Miners (20-4) in their last game. Despite Troussel's good performance the first-placed ETB Miners (20-4) lost 71-76 in Hagen to the second-ranked Hagen BG in the West group. He scored 11 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in only a mere 10 minutes. It's Troussel's first season with the team. This year Troussel averages 7.4ppg, 4.6rpg and 1.4apg in 25 games. He has also French nationality.

   #4. Brad Rathjen (6'2''-G-1998, played in 2013-17, plays pro in Australia) managed to help Forestville Eagles to win against the third-ranked South Adelaide Panthers (6-3) 89-88 in the Australian NBL One (second division) in Saturday night's game. Rathjen scored only 2 points, had 4 rebounds and dished 6 assists. Forestville Eagles (6-3) are placed fourth in Central group. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. Rathjen has relatively good stats this season 11.5ppg, 5.3rpg, 5.8apg and 1.6spg.

   #5. Thomas Goodall (6'6''-F-1997, played in 2013-17, plays in Australia) contributed to an easy victory against the ninth-ranked Noarlunga City Southern Tigers (2-6) crushing them 106-71 in the Australian NBL One (second division) last Saturday. He scored only one point in 7 minutes on the court. Norwood Flames (3-6) are placed seventh in Central group. This year Goodall averages 1.0ppg and 2.1rpg in nine games.

David Humphries (6'4''-G/F-1991, played in 2012-14) played for Woodville Warriors in Australian NBL One few monts ago
Trey Sampson (6'9''-F/C-2000, played in 2018-20) plays for Lugano in Swiss SBL
Luke Mascall-Wright (6'3''-F-1995, played in 2012-16) played for Ipswich Tomcats in British NBL D2 last year
