Every week we bring you a list of the top former Owls players who continue their career in pro basketball.



   #1. Jeremy Smith (5'11''-PG-1997, played in 2016-18, plays pro in Colombia) could not help Piratas de Bogota (0-2) in their game last Tuesday. Despite his very good performance Piratas de Bogota was defeated 79-73 on the road by the higher-ranked Toros (#3). Smith was the top scorer with 23 points. He also added 5 boards, passed 6 assists and added 4 steals in 33 minutes. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Smith has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 21.5ppg, 4.0rpg, 6.0apg and 4.0spg.

   #2. Austin Clarke (6'6''-F-1997, played in 2017-18, plays in Australia) was the major contributor in a Canberra Gunners' victory against the 16th-ranked Spiders (0-8) crushing them 90-54 in the Australian NBL One (second division) in Saturday night's game. He scored 16 points and grabbed 4 rebounds; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Clarke's third season in pro basketball. Canberra Gunners (6-1) are placed third in East group. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. It's Clarke's first year with the team. This season he averages 7.6ppg, 3.0rpg, 1.2apg and 1.6spg in five games he played so far.

   #3. Quintin Bailey (6'7''-F-1997, played in 2016-18, currently in New Zealand) contributed to an easy victory against the seventh-ranked Giants (3-4) 116-97 in the New Zealand NBL last Sunday. Bailey scored 10 points in 16 minutes. Taranaki Airs (5-2) are placed third in the NBL. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. This season Bailey averages 4.0ppg and 2.1rpg.

   #4. Psalm Maduakor (6'5''-G-1998, played in 2017-19, plays pro in the TBL) was not able to help the Salem Capitals in their game against the Great Falls Electric (9-6) in the TBL. He recorded 6 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. The Salem Capitals (#4) were edged96-95 in Great Falls by the Electric. It was Capitals' third consecutive loss in a row. It's Maduakor's first season with the team. This year Maduakor averages 5.9ppg, 5.9rpg and 1.1apg in 14 games.

Davie Champagnie (6'9''-F/C-1990, played in 2008-09) plays for Prisse Macon in French NM2
Gregory Sequele (6'9''-F-1991, played in 2012-13) played for Garonne in French NM2 last year
Dylon Davis (6'2''-G-2001, played in 2021-23) plays for Long Beach Blue Waves in the TBL
Francis Dogani (5'11''-PG) plays for Briercrest College in the ACAC
Latrelle Franklin (5'8''-PG-1995, played in 2015-16) played for San Diego Sharks in the TBL last year
