EuroBasket Pro Gauchos Weekly Update

We bring you last week's top former Gauchos players who are currently playing in pro basketball.
#1. TJ Shorts (5'9''-PG-1997, played in 2015-17, plays pro in France) was the major contributor in a Paris Basketball's victory against the closely-ranked Le Mans (10-2) crushing them 88-55 in the French Betclic ELITE ProA on Saturday night.
Shorts recorded 15 points, 4 rebounds and 7 assists (made all of his five free throws) in 21 minutes.
It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Paris Basketball (21-7) is placed second in the Betclic ELITE ProA.
It was his team's ninth consecutive victory in a row.
Shorts has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 15.3ppg, 3.4rpg, 6.8apg and 1.3spg.
Shorts is a naturalized North Macedonian.
He is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas.
#2. Eric Thompson (6'9''-C-1993, played in 2018-20, plays in Japan) could not help Iwate Big Bulls (17-39) in their last game. Despite Thompson's very good performance the sixth-placed Iwate Big Bulls (17-39) lost 64-73 on the road to the leading Chiba in the East group.
He had a double-double by scoring 15 points and getting the same number of rebounds. Thompson also added 3 assists.
There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical.
It's Thompson's first season with the team.
This year he averages 9.3ppg, 9.2rpg and 1.2apg in 37 games he played so far.
#3. Nikola Lipovic (6'3''-SG-2000, played in 2018-20, currently in Serbia) led KK Zeleznicar Cacak to a victory against the 14th-ranked Dunav SB (9-19) 116-108 in the Serbian 2MLS (second division) last Saturday.
He recorded 12 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 34 minutes.
KK Zeleznicar Cacak (15-13) is placed seventh in the 2MLS.
It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row.
There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial.
Lipovic has relatively good stats this season 10.2ppg and 1.7rpg.
He is a naturalized Serbian.
#4. Lyletacoma Hexom (6'8''-F-1995, played in 2015-16, plays pro in the TBL) contributed to a Great Falls Electric's victory against the Emerald City Jaguars (0-8) 104-97 in the TBL on Saturday night.
He had a double-double by scoring 18 points and getting 11 rebounds. Hexom also added 5 blocks.
The Great Falls Electric has 4-3 record this season.
Hexom has very impressive stats this year 22.1ppg, 12.4rpg, 1.1apg and 2.0bpg in seven games.
