Every week we bring you a list of the top former Saints players who continue their career in pro basketball.
#1. Rob Howard (6'8''-F-1997, played in 2016-18, plays pro in Slovakia) led Levice to a victory against the seventh-ranked Inter Bratislava (11-20) 93-85 in the Slovakian Nike SBL in Wednesday night's game.
He scored 16 points and grabbed 9 rebounds in 21 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Howard's third season in pro basketball. Patrioti Leviceis placed in the Nike SBL.
Howard has relatively good stats this year 13.5ppg and 8.0rpg in 27 games he played so far.
#2. Mike Miller (6'4''-G-1997, played in 2015-17, plays in Germany) was the major contributor in a Bozic Estriche Knights Kirchheim's victory against the 11th-ranked Eisbaeren Bremerhaven (12-16) 87-78 in the German ProA (second division) last Saturday.
Miller recorded a double-double by scoring 22 points and making 11 passes. He also added 8 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws).
Bozic Estriche Knights Kirchheim (7-3) is placed second in the ProA.
It's Miller's first season with the team.
Miller has relatively good stats this year 14.6ppg, 6.5rpg and 3.7apg.
#3. Gentrell Taylor (6'7''-F-1999, played in 2017-19, currently in the TBL), who plays in the TBL could not help the Little Rock Lightning (0-4) to beat the Wichita Skykings (1-6).
Taylor scored 5 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 13 minutes.
The Little Rock Lightning (#7) was edged100-97 on the road by the Skykings.
So far Lightning lost all four games in the Regular Season.
But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen.
This year Taylor averages 3.5ppg and 2.5rpg in two games.
#4. Ayomide Ajiboye (6'5''-F-2000, played in 2018-19, plays pro in Argentina) was not able to help Rivadavia (13-15) in their last game on Sunday. Despite his good performance the eighth-placed Rivadavia (13-15) was badly defeated99-80 in Resistencia by the higher-ranked Villa S.Martin (#5) in the Conferencia Norte.
Ajiboye was the top scorer with 14 points.
The Regular Season already ended.
This season Ajiboye averages 4.9ppg and 3.0rpg.
