EuroBasket Pro Ravens Weekly Update

We bring you last week's top former Ravens players who are currently playing in pro basketball.

   #1. Anthony Livingston (6'8''-F-92, played in 2013-14, plays pro in Portugal) led Illiabum to a victory over one of league's weakest teams Maia Basket (6-13) crushing them 93-60 in the Portuguese LPB on Saturday night. He was MVP of the game. Livingston scored 21 points, had 8 rebounds and made 2 blocks in 31 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his second season in pro basketball. Illiabum Clube (6-13) is placed 12th in the LPB. Livingston has relatively good stats this season 10.9ppg and 6.6rpg.

   #2. Jorden Duffy (6'1''-G, played in 2015-17, plays in Slovakia) was the major contributor in a Rieker KN's victory against the fourth-ranked Lucenec (14-11) 93-86 in the Slovakian SBL in Wednesday night's game. Duffy recorded 23 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 3 steals; not bad, considering it's only his first season in pro basketball. MBK Rieker Com Therm Komarno (7-18) closes the standings in the SBL. Duffy has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 19.0ppg, 2.8rpg, 3.3apg and 1.8spg in six games he played so far.

   #3. Corey Davis (6'1''-PG, played in 2015-17, currently in Turkey) contributed to an Afyon Belediyespor's victory against the closely-ranked Acibadem (6-12) 95-91 in the Turkish BSL last Sunday. He scored 7 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 31 minutes. Afyon Belediyespor (7-11) is placed 11th in the BSL. Davis has relatively good stats this season 10.4ppg, 2.1rpg and 2.2apg.

   #4. Zach Lofton (6'4''-G-92, played in 2012-13, plays pro in Germany) was the main contributor in Rostock's surprising victory against the seventh-ranked Bayer Giants (12-11) 92-85 in the German ProA (second division) on Saturday night. Lofton was MVP of the game. He scored 30 points (!!!), grabbed 6 boards, passed 5 assists and added 3 steals. Rostock Seawolves (10-13) is placed 13th in the ProA. Lofton has very impressive stats this year 26.0ppg, 3.5rpg, 3.0apg and 2.0spg in two games.

   #5. Jibreel Faulkner (6'8''-F-96, played in 2015-16, plays in Georgia) managed to help Tbilisi State University to win against one of league's weakest teams Mgzavrebi (3-9) 83-77 in a derby game in the Georgian Superleague in Saturday night's game. Faulkner recorded only 3 points in 3 minutes on the court. It was his first game for TSU this season. His team is placed first in the Superleague.

   #6. Experienced Roberto Morentin (6'9''-F/C-81, played in 2000-02, currently in Spain) contributed to an easy victory against the sixth-ranked Zentro Basket crushing them 81-55 in the Spanish EBA (fourth division) last Saturday. He had a double-double by scoring 14 points and getting 10 rebounds. Morentin has relatively good stats this year 11.4ppg, 4.8rpg and 2.2apg in 13 games.

   #7. Moses Sundufu (6'2''-G-91, played in 2010-11, plays pro in the TBL) could not help the Lewisville Yellow Jackets (0-2) in their game last Saturday. Despite his very good performance the Lewisville Yellow Jackets were crushed141-86on the road by the Dallas Skyline. Sundufu was the top scorer with 29 points in only a mere 1 minutes. This season Sundufu has very high stats. He averages 21.5ppg, 3.0rpg and 2.0apg.

   #8. Gary Akbar (6'5''-G-94, played in 2013-14, plays in the TBL) was not able to help the Dayton Flight in their game against the Columbus Condors in the TBL. He scored 6 points. It was his first game for Dayton Flight this season. His team lost 129-137 in the TBL. Akbar is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas.
