EuroBasket Pro Mustangs Weekly Update

Here is the weekly review of the top performing Mustangs alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.

   #1. Maurice Ndour (6'9''-F-92, played in 2011-12, plays pro in Russia) led his Russian team Unics Kazan to a victory over the seventh-ranked Kalev/Cramo (14-12) crushing them 108-84 in the VTB United League on Sunday night. He was MVP of the game. Ndour recorded a double-double by scoring 23 points and getting 12 rebounds in 21 minutes. Unics Kazan (21-5) is placed second in the VTB United League. Ndour has relatively good stats this season 10.7ppg, 4.3rpg and 1.1bpg.

   #2. Arkeem Joseph (6'9''-C-94, played in 2013-14, plays in Argentina) contributed to Argentino's victory against the 11th-ranked Quimsa (17-18) 96-92 in the Argentinian La Liga in Sunday night's game. He had a double-double by scoring 19 points and getting 13 rebounds; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Joseph's third season in pro basketball. Argentino Junin (12-18) is placed sixth in the La Liga. It was his team's 11th consecutive victory in a row. They will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical. Joseph has relatively good stats this year 12.7ppg and 7.6rpg in 14 games he played so far.

   #3. Jeff Early (6'3''-G-88, played in 2010-11, currently in Mexico) contributed to a 3-point Pioneros de Los Mochis' victory against the closely-ranked Gigantes (8-8) 114-111 in the Mexican CIBACOPA last Saturday. Early recorded 11 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 3 steals in 27 minutes. Pioneros de Los Mochis (4-12) is located at the very bottom in the CIBACOPA. But the situation may improve as they ended a series of four consecutive loses. Early has relatively good stats this season 12.7ppg and 7.6rpg.

   #4. Zviad Antadze (6'6''-F-88, graduated '10, plays pro in Georgia) managed to help BC Delta in a victory against the closely-ranked Olimpi (8-10) 81-71 in a derby game in the Georgian Superleague on Sunday night. Antadze scored only 2 points. BC Delta (12-6) is placed third in the Superleague. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. This year Antadze averages 9.1ppg, 3.4rpg and 1.6apg in 10 games.
