EuroBasket Pro Highlanders Weekly Update

Every week we bring you a list of the top former Highlanders players who continue their career in pro basketball.
#1. Taylor Smith (6'7''-F/C-91, played in 2009-11, plays pro in France) led BCM Gravelines Dunkerque Grand Littoral to an easy victory against one of league's weakest teams Provence Basket (9-22) crushing them 116-85 in the French Jeep ELITE ProA on Friday night.
He scored 13 points, had 8 boards, handed out 3 passes and blocked 2 shots in 22 minutes.
BCM Gravelines Dunkerque Grand Littoral (19-11) is placed fifth in the Jeep ELITE ProA.
There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical.
Smith has relatively good stats this season 10.2ppg, 7.1rpg, 2.1apg and 1.7bpg.
#2. Deondre Ray (6'5''-SF, played in 2013-14, plays in Romania) could not help Constanta (1-9) in their last game. Despite Ray's very good performance the fifth-placed Constanta (1-9) was edged 94-92 on the road by the leading Targu Mures in the Group Yellow.
He was the top scorer with 26 points. Ray also added 6 rebounds; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his third season in pro basketball. It was Constanta's ninth consecutive loss in a row.
It's Ray's first year with the team.
Ray has relatively good stats this season 14.7ppg, 5.7rpg and 1.5apg in 22 games he played so far.
#3. Shawn Prudhomme (6'4''-F-94, played in 2013-14, currently in Luxembourg), who plays in the Luxembourg Total League was not able to help Soleuvre (16-13) in their game last Sunday. Despite Prudhomme's very good performance the fourth-placed Soleuvre (16-13) was crushed 102-73 at home by the higher-ranked Kordall Steelers (#3) in the Playdowns 2 group.
He recorded a double-double by scoring 27 points and getting 11 rebounds in 26 minutes.
The Second Stage already ended.
It's Prudhomme's first season with the team.
Prudhomme has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 24.8ppg, 7.6rpg, 1.3apg and 1.2spg.
#4. Wayne Langston (6'7''-F-93, played in 2013-14, plays pro in Israel) was not able to secure a victory for Maccabi Raanana (22-4) in their last game. Despite his very good performance the league leader Maccabi Raanana lost 83-94 in Haifa to the lower-ranked (#4) Maccabi.
Langston had a double-double by scoring 27 points and getting 11 rebounds. He also added 2 blocks; not bad, considering it's only Langston's third season in pro basketball. It's Langston's first year with the team.
He has very impressive stats this season 17.2ppg, 8.1rpg, 2.3apg and 1.2spg in 31 games.
#5. Jerran Young (6'6''-G-91, played in 2010-12, plays in Singapore) couldn't help Jobstreet.com Singapore Slingers (16-10) in their game against CLS Knights (15-11) in the ASEAN League.
He recorded only 4 points and added 3 assists in 15 minutes.
Jobstreet.com Singapore Slingers was badly defeated 86-67 in Surabaya by the lower-ranked CLS Knights (#7).
It's Young's first season with the team.
This year Young has very high stats. He averages 19.4ppg, 7.2rpg, 3.9apg and 2.3spg.
