EuroBasket Pro Cavaliers Weekly Update

Here is the weekly review of the top performing Cavaliers alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.


   #1. Experienced Bobby Dixon (5'10''-G-83, played in 2002-04, plays pro in Turkey) was the major contributor in a Fenerbahce Istanbul's victory against the fifth-ranked Gaziantep (14-10) 84-67 in the Turkish BSL in Tuesday night's game. He recorded 21 points in 22 minutes. Fenerbahce Istanbul (21-3) is placed first in the BSL. It was his team's sixth consecutive victory in a row. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Dixon's fourth season with the team. Dixon has relatively good stats this year 10.3ppg, 2.1rpg and 2.4apg in 22 games he played so far. He is a naturalized Turk.

   #2. Anthony Young (6'7''-F-89, played in 2008-10, plays in Uruguay) could not help Defensor (1-4) in their last game on Monday. Despite his good performance the sixth-placed Defensor (1-4) was defeated 93-81 in a derby game by the second-ranked Aguada in the Places 1-6 group. Young recorded 13 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists. Young has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 18.4ppg, 5.2rpg and 2.8apg.

   #3. Raidell De Pree (6'6''-G/F-97, graduated '18, currently in Spain) was not able to help Boet in their game against Mataro Feimat (17-8) in the Spanish EBA (fourth division). It was not his best game last Sunday. De Pree recorded only 3 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 16 minutes. The tenth-placed Boet (10-15) was crushed 92-68 in a derby game by the higher-ranked (#5) Mataro Feimat in the Group C-A. It was Boet's fourth consecutive loss in a row. His team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And now that game is very crucial. It's De Pree's first season with the team. This year De Pree averages 7.4ppg and 4.5rpg in 25 games.

   #4. Jawad Adekoya (6'6''-G, played in 2013-14, plays pro in United Kingdom) managed to help Plymouth University Raiders to win against the closely-ranked London CR (14-12) 105-103 in the British BBL in Saturday night's game. He scored only 2 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. Plymouth University Raiders (13-15) is placed seventh in the BBL. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be important. This season Adekoya averages 3.5ppg, 2.7rpg and 1.3apg. He is a naturalized British.

   #5. Elliott Sentance (6'4''-F-94, played in 2014-15, plays in Germany) led Herford to an easy victory against the third-ranked Recklinghausen (18-4) crushing them 97-67 in the German Regionalliga (fourth division) last Saturday. Sentance recorded 12 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 20 minutes. BBG Herford (19-7) is placed fifth in West group. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. The Regular Season already ended. It's Sentance's first season with the team. He has very impressive stats this year 15.1ppg, 7.0rpg and 2.1apg in 26 games.

   #6. Mykeil Tzul (6'0''-PG, played in 2013-15, currently in Belize) was not able to secure a victory for Belize City Defenders in their game against Tigersharks in the Belizean NEBL. Tzul scored 6 points. His team was badly defeated by 18 points 79-61. He has relatively good stats this season 14.2ppg, 2.0rpg, 3.0apg and 1.4spg.
