EuroBasket Pro Renegates Weekly Update

We bring you last week's top former Renegates players who are currently playing in pro basketball.
#1. Mikh McKinney (6'1''-G-92, played in 2011-12, plays pro in China) could not help Macau (14-12) in their game last Wednesday. Despite his good performance Macau were badly defeated 89-70 at home by the higher-ranked Singapore Slingers (#3).
McKinney was the second best scorer with 12 points. He also added 6 rebounds and dished 8 assists in 36 minutes.
There are only two games left until the end of the ASEAN League Regular Season. So now every game will be critical.
McKinney has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 27.4ppg, 5.8rpg, 6.4apg and 2.0spg.
McKinney is a naturalized Filipino.
#2. Michael Bethea (6'6''-G-95, played in 2013-15, plays in the NBA G League) led Grand Rapids Drive to a 3-point victory against the Fort Wayne Mad Ants (23-27) 121-118 in the NBA G League in Saturday night's game.
Bethea scored 17 points (went 6 for 6 at the free throw line); quite an impressive performance considering it's only his second season in pro basketball. The Grand Rapids Drive has 28-22 record this season.
Bethea's team will play only one more game in the NBA G League Regular Season. And now that game is very crucial.
Bethea has relatively good stats this year 11.0ppg and 3.5rpg in 44 games he played so far.
#3. Ryo Tawatari (5'11''-PG-93, played in 2013-15, currently in Japan) was not able to help Yokohama BC in their game against Tochigi Brex (40-9) in the Japanese B League.
He recorded 9 points and added 6 assists in 23 minutes.
But the sixth-placed Yokohama BC (14-35) were defeated 90-79 on their home court in Yokohama by the second-ranked Tochigi Brex in the Central group.
This season Tawatari averages 9.6ppg, 2.7rpg and 4.0apg.
#4. Lauri Toivonen (6'7''-F-91, played in 2011-12, plays pro in Finland) was not able to secure a victory for Lapuan Korikobrat (12-22) in their game against Helsinki Seagulls (16-18) in the Finnish Korisliiga, despite his good performance last Friday.
He scored 10 points, had 8 rebounds and dished 3 assists.
But Lapuan Korikobrat was edged 82-81 on the road by the higher-ranked (#7) Helsinki Seagulls.
It's Toivonen's first season with the team.
This year Toivonen averages 6.1ppg, 3.7rpg and 1.6apg in 33 games.
#5. Isaiah Omamogho (6'1''-G-93, played in 2013-14, plays in Australia) contributed to an easy victory against the eighth-ranked Central District Lions (1-2) 95-79 in the Australian State League (second division) in Saturday night's game.
He recorded 7 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 28 minutes.
Noarlunga City Southern Tigers (1-2) are placed seventh in Premier League.
But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen.
This year Omamogho averages 6.7ppg, 3.3rpg and 1.7apg.
#6. Anton Miller (5'11''-PG-91, played in 2012-13, currently in Sweden) was the major contributor in an Alvik Basket's victory against the closely-ranked IK Eos crushing them 79-53 in the Swedish Superettan (second division) last Saturday.
He scored 13 points.
Miller has relatively good stats this year 12.2ppg, 3.5rpg, 3.2apg and 1.7spg in 22 games.
#7. Karl Ohrner (6'8''-F-93, played in 2012-13, plays pro in Sweden) is a teammate of previously mentioned Anton Miller and both played together in the last Swedish Superettan game.
Ohrner managed to help Alvik Basket Stockholm to win against the closely-ranked IK Eos crushing them 79-53.
He scored only 4 points, had 9 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 16 minutes.
This season Ohrner averages 4.3ppg, 6.3rpg and 2.3apg.
#8. Daniel Busto (6'8''-F/C-92, graduated '15, plays in Spain) couldn't help Pozuelo in their game against Movistar Estudiantes Madrid B in the Spanish EBA (fourth division), despite his good performance on Saturday night.
He was the second best scorer with 12 points. Busto also added 6 rebounds.
But his team lost 59-74.
Busto has relatively good stats this year 10.5ppg and 4.8rpg in 24 games.
