EuroBasket Pro Rangers Weekly Update

Here is the weekly review of the top performing Rangers alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.
#1. Marcus Thornton (6'4''-G-87, graduated '09, plays pro in the NBA G League) could not help the Grand Rapids Drive (28-22) in their game last Wednesday. Despite his very good performance the Grand Rapids Drive was defeated 144-135 on the road by the Delaware Blue Coats.
Thornton scored 20 points in 27 minutes.
His team will play only one more game in the NBA G League Regular Season. And that game will be critical.
It's Thornton's first season with the team.
Thornton has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 20.8ppg, 4.2rpg, 2.2apg and 1.6spg.
#2. Quinton Upshur (6'5''-G-93, played in 2012-13, plays in Belgium) contributed to a Belfius Mons-Hainaut's victory against the seventh-ranked Okapi Aalstar (8-12) 87-81 in the Belgian Euromillions League in Sunday night's game.
Upshur scored 7 points.
Belfius Mons-Hainaut (7-3) is placed third in the Euromillions League.
This year Upshur averages 8.4ppg, 2.5rpg, 1.1apg and 1.1spg in 20 games he played so far.
#3. Experienced Jason Williams (6'7''-G/F-83, played in 2002-03, currently in France) helped Chorale de Roanne Basket win their game against the closely-ranked Sluc Nancy (16-7) 80-74 in the French ProB (second division) last Sunday.
Williams scored 9 points in 26 minutes.
It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Chorale de Roanne Basket (17-5) is placed first in the ProB.
Williams has relatively good stats this season 12.0ppg, 3.3rpg, 1.6apg and 1.4spg.
#4. Chris Johnson (6'5''-G/F-88, played in 2008-10, plays pro in Canada) was not able to help the Cape Breton Highlanders (16-22) in their last game. Despite Johnson's very good performance the Cape Breton Highlanders (#4) were crushed 117-91 in Halifax by the Hurricanes.
He was the top scorer with 20 points. Johnson also added 7 rebounds.
It was Cape Breton Highlanders' third consecutive loss in a row.
His team will play only one more game in the NBLCanada Regular Season. And now that game is very crucial.
Johnson has relatively good stats this year 14.5ppg, 4.3rpg and 2.2apg in 28 games.

Jonathan Milligan (6'2''-G-93, played in 2013-15) played for Team Toronto in the Eurobasket S.League last year
