EuroBasket Pro Indians Weekly Update

We bring you last week's top former Indians players who are currently playing in pro basketball.

   #1. Mario Little (6'6''-G/F-87, played in 2005-08, plays pro in Croatia) led KK Zadar to a 3-point victory against the closely-ranked Split (11-6) 91-88 in the Croatian Premijer Liga on Friday night. He scored 13 points and added 4 assists in 31 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. KK Zadar (13-4) is placed second in the Premijer Liga. It's Little's first season with the team. Little has relatively good stats this year 10.4ppg, 2.1rpg and 2.9apg.

   #2. Experienced Chanan Colman (6'3''-G-84, plays in Israel) led Beer Sheva to an easy victory against the league leader Maccabi Ashdod (17-6) 99-84 in the Israeli Winner League in Monday night's game. Colman scored 15 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. Hapoel Beer Sheva (11-10) is placed fifth in the Winner League. His team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical. It's Colman's first season with the team. This year Colman averages 8.9ppg, 3.2rpg, 2.9apg and 1.6spg in 21 games he played so far. He has also Israeli passport.

   #3. Marcos Knight (6'2''-G-89, graduated '13, currently in Germany), who plays in the German BBL could not help MHP RIESEN Ludwigsburg (6-10) to beat EWE Baskets (19-4). Knight scored 7 points and added 3 passes in 22 minutes. MHP RIESEN Ludwigsburg was crushed 100-71 on the road by the second-ranked EWE Baskets. The Regular Season already ended. Knight has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 17.0ppg, 5.8rpg, 3.9apg and 1.6spg.

   #4. Kruize Pinkins (6'7''-F-93, graduated '15, plays pro in Italy) led Novipiu Casale to a victory against the 15th-ranked FCL Contract LG (5-19) 88-81 in the Italian Serie A2 (second division) on Sunday night. He had a double-double by scoring 13 points and getting the same number of rebounds. Novipiu Casale Monferrato (13-12) is placed tenth in West group. It's Pinkins' first season with the team. Pinkins has very impressive stats this year 16.2ppg, 10.0rpg and 1.6apg in 25 games.

   #5. Junior Saintel (6'7''-G/F-95, played in 2014-16, plays in Spain) was not able to help Bodegas Rioja Vega Logrono (13-13) in their game last Saturday. Despite Saintel's good performance the seventh-placed Bodegas Rioja Vega Logrono (13-13) was edged 81-78 on the opponent's court by the lower-ranked L'Hospitalet (#10) in the West group. He scored 13 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in a mere 19 minutes. Saintel has relatively good stats this season 10.2ppg and 4.2rpg. He is a naturalized Haitian.

   #6. Earl Watson (6'7''-C-90, played in 2012-13, currently in Spain) contributed to a Rio Ourense Termal's victory against the eighth-ranked Carramimbre 81-75 in the Spanish LEB Gold (second division) last Saturday. He scored 7 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. This year Watson averages 9.8ppg and 5.0rpg in 20 games.

   #7. Sam Cassell Jr. (6'4''-G-92, played in 2012-14, plays pro in Germany) was the major contributor in Herford's victory against the tenth-ranked Deutzer 106-103 in the German Regionalliga (fourth division) on Saturday night. Cassell Jr. recorded 24 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists in 45 minutes. This season Cassell Jr. has very high stats. He averages 20.5ppg, 4.5rpg, 3.5apg and 1.7spg.

   #8. Mehdy-Sofian Ngouama (6'2''-PG-95, played in 2014-16, plays in France) helped Jean D'Arc Vichy Clermont Metropole win their game against the 13th-ranked ALM Evreux 93-83 in the French ProB (second division) in Friday night's game. He recorded 6 points and added 5 passes. Ngouama has relatively good stats this year 10.1ppg, 2.0rpg, 3.0apg and 1.1spg in 22 games.

   #9. Tra-Deon Hollins (6'2''-G-95, played in 2014-15, currently in Canada) was not able to secure a victory for the St. John's Edge in their game against the Riptide in the NBLCanada. He scored 9 points, grabbed 6 rebounds, passed 7 assists and added 2 blocks in 32 minutes. His team was edged 84-82. This season Hollins averages 6.7ppg, 4.7rpg, 4.7apg and 1.7spg.

   #10. Chadrack Lufile (6'9''-F-90, graduated '14, plays pro in Canada) managed to help Halifax Hurricanes in a victory against the Titans crushing them 136-108 in the NBLCanada on Sunday night. He scored only one point. This year Lufile averages 7.3ppg and 5.6rpg in 22 games. He has also Canadian nationality.
