EuroBasket Pro Jaguars Weekly Update

Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top former Jaguars players who continue their career in pro basketball.

   #1. Nimrod Hilliard IV (6'0''-PG-93, played in 2012-13, plays pro in Sweden) led Boras Basket to a victory over the league leader Sodertalje Kings (26-6) 90-72 in the Swedish Basketligan on Sunday night. He was MVP of the game. Hilliard IV recorded 23 points and added 7 assists in 34 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Boras Basket (23-9) is placed fourth in the Basketligan. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Hilliard IV has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 20.1ppg, 2.8rpg, 6.5apg and 1.4spg.

   #2. Nikola Gajic (6'5''-G/F-91, graduated '14, plays in Slovenia) contributed to a 2-point Helios Suns' victory against one of league's weakest teams Zrinjski HT (6-14) 82-80 in the ABA League in Thursday night's game. He scored 15 points, made 3 passes and 4 steals. Helios Suns Domzale (7-13) is placed ninth in the ABA League. There are only two games left until the end of the ABA League Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. This year Gajic averages 8.2ppg, 4.9rpg, 2.6apg and 1.5spg in 16 games he played so far. He has also Serbian passport.

   #3. Johnny Hamilton (7'0''-C-94, played in 2013-15, currently in the NBA G League) contributed to an easy victory against the Sioux Falls Skyforce (23-19) 107-91 in the NBA G League last Friday. Hamilton scored 8 points, grabbed 9 rebounds and made 2 blocks in 25 minutes. The Grand Rapids Drive has 21-20 record this season. Hamilton has relatively good stats this year 11.9ppg, 9.0rpg, 1.1apg and 2.6bpg.

   #4. Ike Agusi (5'11''-PG-95, played in 2015-16, plays pro in Slovakia) was the major contributor in Lucenec's surprising victory against the second-ranked Levice (18-8) 91-77 in the Slovakian SBL on Saturday night. He scored 21 points, made 3 passes and 3 steals; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Agusi's first season in pro basketball. BKM Lucenec (3-23) closes the standings in the SBL. But the situation may improve as they ended a series of four consecutive loses. It's Agusi's first year with the team. He has relatively good stats this season 13.0ppg, 2.0rpg, 4.2apg and 1.2spg in 23 games.

   #5. Kiefer Douse (6'3''-G-92, played in 2014-15, plays in United Kingdom) managed to help Jelson Homes DMU Leicester Riders to win against the league outsider Worcester Wolves (3-18) 85-80 in the British BBL in Friday night's game. He scored only 2 points in 4 minutes on the court. Jelson Homes DMU Leicester Riders (16-4) is placed second in the BBL. It was his team's sixth consecutive victory in a row. This season Douse averages 4.5ppg, 2.1rpg and 2.7apg.

   #6. Chris Singhateh (6'5''-F-90, played in 2012-13, currently in Sweden) contributed to Umea's victory against the third-ranked BC Lulea 87-82 in the Swedish Basketligan last Tuesday. He recorded only 4 points. This year Singhateh averages 7.0ppg, 3.9rpg and 1.4apg in 31 games.

   #7. Andre Hughes (6'8''-F-94, played in 2015-16, plays pro in Iceland) contributed to Hottur's victory against the closely-ranked Vestri 97-86 in the Icelandic D1 (second division) on Friday night. He recorded 11 points in 20 minutes. This season Hughes has very high stats. He averages 15.4ppg, 7.2rpg, 2.4apg and 1.4spg. Hughes is a naturalized German.
