EuroBasket Pro Sharks Weekly Update

Here is the weekly review of the top performing Sharks alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.
#1. Elio Corazza (6'4''-PG-89, graduated '10, plays pro in Brazil) contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Pinheiros (18-4) 93-78 in a derby game in the Brazilian NBB in Saturday night's game.
He recorded 8 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists in 23 minutes.
It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. SESI-SP/Franca Basquete Sao Paulo (3-7) is placed first in the NBB.
It's Corazza's first season with the team.
This year Corazza averages 6.8ppg, 3.6rpg and 5.2apg in 18 games he played so far.
#2. Devin Brooks (6'1''-G-92, played in 2010-11, plays in Slovakia) could not help Rieker KN (12-14) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Brooks' very good performance Rieker KN was defeated 79-74 at home by the higher-ranked Iskra Svit (#3).
He recorded a double-double by scoring 17 points and getting 14 rebounds. Brooks also added 5 assists and 3 steals.
Brooks has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 17.7ppg, 11.0rpg, 6.0apg and 2.4spg.
Worth to mention he played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.
#3. Darnell Dodson (6'7''-F-89, played in 2008-09, currently in Argentina) contributed to Comunicaciones' victory against the closely-ranked Estudiantes Concordia (8-10) 86-82 in the Argentinian La Liga on Friday night.
He scored 8 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in 20 minutes.
Comunicaciones Mercedes (9-9) is placed 11th in the La Liga.
This year Dodson averages 8.3ppg and 5.0rpg in 12 games.
#4. Trevor Mbakwe (6'10''-C/F-89, played in 2008-09, plays pro in Japan) contributed to an easy victory against the fifth-ranked Akita Happinets (14-28) 88-73 in the Japanese B League in Sunday night's game.
Mbakwe scored 6 points, had 8 rebounds and dished 5 assists.
Osaka Evessa (16-26) is placed fourth in West group.
It was his team's first victory after three consecutive loses.
This season Mbakwe averages 8.1ppg, 6.7rpg and 2.3apg.
He is a naturalized Nigerian.
#5. Joe Mvuezolo (6'6''-F-96, played in 2014-16, plays in United Kingdom) was not able to help Surrey Scorchers (4-18) in their last game. Despite his good performance Surrey Scorchers lost 79-93 on the road to the leading London Lions.
Mvuezolo scored 11 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 24 minutes.
This year Mvuezolo averages 6.3ppg, 2.3rpg and 1.2apg in six games.
