Here is the weekly review of the top performing Bears alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.
#1. Ivan Cruz Uceda (6'10''-C/F-91, played in 2012-14, plays pro in Spain) could not help RETAbet BB (15-8) in their game last Friday. Despite his good performance RETAbet BB was defeated 79-64 on the road by the much lower-ranked Carramimbre (#9).
Cruz Uceda scored 11 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in 23 minutes.
It's Cruz Uceda's first season with the team.
This year he averages 8.6ppg and 5.5rpg.
#2. Sergio Rupil (6'3''-G/F-94, graduated '14, plays in Argentina) led Ameghino de Villa Maria to an easy victory against the fourth-ranked Salta Basket (15-13) 88-69 in the Argentinian La Liga Argentina (second division) in Saturday night's game.
Rupil scored 14 points, made 4 passes and 3 steals.
Ameghino de Villa Maria (13-16) is placed fifth in North - C.North group.
It's Rupil's first season with the team.

Nkali recorded a double-double by scoring 14 points and getting 11 rebounds. He also added 4 blocks in 22 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Nkali's second season in pro basketball. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. BC Vera (3-2) is placed third in the A League.
It's Nkali's first year with the team.
He has relatively good stats this season 11.3ppg, 10.0rpg, 1.3apg and 1.8bpg.
#4. Shevon Thompson (7'0''-C-93, played in 2013-14, plays pro in the NBA G League) was not able to help the Wisconsin Herd in their game against the Oklahoma City Blue (26-15) in the NBA G League, despite his very good performance last Wednesday.
Thompson had a double-double by scoring 15 points and getting 10 rebounds; not bad, considering it's only his third season in pro basketball. But the Wisconsin Herd (#5) was edged 111-109 in Oklahoma City by the Blue.
It was Wisconsin Herd's fifth consecutive loss in a row.
Thompson has relatively good stats this year 12.0ppg and 8.6rpg in 20 games.
