We bring you last week's top former Texans players who are currently playing in pro basketball.
#1. Stanton Kidd (6'8''-F-92, played in 2011-12, plays pro in Turkey) could not help Darussafaka (3-20) in their game last Friday. Despite his good performance the bottom-ranked Darussafaka was crushed 97-75 in a derby game by the leading Fenerbahce.
Kidd scored 10 points and had 3 steals in 22 minutes.
This season Kidd averages 6.7ppg, 3.0rpg and 1.3apg.
#2. David Kadiri (6'7''-F-95, played in 2014-15, plays in Serbia) was not able to help Sloboda Uzice in their game against Zlatibor (13-10) in the Serbian KLS, despite his good performance in Monday night's game.
Kadiri was the second best scorer with 12 points. He also added 7 rebounds.
But Sloboda Uzice was crushed 100-79 on the road by the higher-ranked (#5) Zlatibor.
It was Sloboda Uzice's fourth consecutive loss in a row.
There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical.
It's Kadiri's first season with the team.
This year Kadiri averages 9.4ppg and 4.6rpg in 23 games he played so far.
He is a naturalized Nigerian.
#3. Malcolm Miller (6'7''-G-91, played in 2010-12, currently in Taiwan) was the major contributor in a Formosa Dreamers' victory against the league outsider Zhuhai (2-18) crushing them 107-79 in the ASEAN League last Sunday.
He recorded a double-double by scoring 22 points and making 15 passes. Miller also added 6 rebounds and 5 steals in 32 minutes.
Formosa Dreamers (13-6) are placed second in the ASEAN League.
It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row.
Miller has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 20.7ppg, 7.3rpg, 5.7apg, 1.1bpg and 1.2spg.
#4. Emmanuel Omogbo (6'8''-F-95, played in 2013-15, plays pro in Israel) led Elitzur Kiryat Ata to a victory against one of league's weakest teams Ironi Ashkelon (8-12) 77-68 in the Israeli National League (second division) on Tuesday night.
He had a double-double by scoring 14 points and getting 16 rebounds; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Omogbo's second season in pro basketball. Elitzur Kiryat Ata (10-9) is placed sixth in the National League.
It was his team's first victory after four consecutive loses.
Omogbo has very impressive stats this year 16.0ppg and 17.5rpg in two games.
He is a naturalized Nigerian.
#5. Anthony Walker (6'9''-F-93, played in 2011-12, plays in the NBA G League) managed to help Stockton Kings to win against the Northern Arizona Suns (9-32) 114-113 in the NBA G League in Saturday night's game.
He scored only 2 points in 5 minutes on the court.
The Stockton Kings have a solid 24-15 record this season.
It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row.
This season Walker averages 4.8ppg, 3.5rpg and 1.4bpg.
#6. Tramar Sutherland (6'3''-G-89, played in 2008-10, currently in Canada) contributed to a Kitchener-Waterloo Titans' victory against the Sudbury Five 113-100 in the NBLCanada last Thursday.
He scored 16 points and grabbed 5 rebounds.
Sutherland has relatively good stats this year 10.7ppg, 4.0rpg, 1.3apg and 1.2spg in 29 games.
#7. Deshaunt Walker (5'11''-PG-91, played in 2011-12, plays pro in Canada) was not able to secure a victory for the Cape Breton Highlanders in their game against the Moncton Miracles in the NBLCanada.
He scored 8 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 35 minutes.
His team were defeated 111-103.
Walker has relatively good stats this season 13.6ppg, 3.3rpg and 2.8apg.
#8. Andre Spight (6'3''-G-95, played in 2013-15, plays in the NBA G League) couldn't help the Wisconsin Herd in their game against the Raptors 905 Missisauga in the NBA G League. He cannot count Wednesday's game as one of the best ones.
Spight scored only 3 points.
His team was edged 110-108 in the NBA G League.
This year Spight averages 3.1ppg in nine games.
He is a naturalized Armenian.
