EuroBasket Pro Conquistadors Weekly Update

Here is the weekly review of the top performing Conquistadors alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.
#1. R.J. McGhee (6'6''-F, played in 2011-12, plays pro in Latvia) could not help TLU/Kalev (10-13) in their last game. Despite his very good performance TLU/Kalev was edged 86-83 at home by the higher-ranked (#7) Rapla.
McGhee was the top scorer with 19 points. He also added 4 rebounds in 31 minutes.
It was TLU/Kalev's fourth consecutive loss in a row.
There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical.
McGhee has relatively good stats this year 12.5ppg, 2.8rpg, 2.4apg and 1.5spg in eight games he played so far.
#2. Experienced Gary Ware (6'9''-C/F-83, played in 2002-04, plays in Austria) led BK Mattersburg Rocks to a victory over the eighth-ranked Worthersee Piraten (8-11) crushing them 79-59 in the Austrian 2.Bundesliga (second division) last Saturday.
Ware was MVP of the game. He recorded a double-double by scoring 19 points and getting 15 rebounds.
BK Mattersburg Rocks (16-3) are placed first in the 2.Bundesliga.
There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial.
Ware has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 21.2ppg, 10.8rpg and 2.0apg.
#3. Ameer Jackson (6'4''-PG-94, played in 2013-15, currently in Qatar), who plays in the Qatari D1 was not able to help Al Khor (2-14) in their last game. Despite his good performance the bottom-ranked Al Khor was crushed 96-60 on their home court in Al Khor by the higher-ranked (#4) Al Arabi.
Jackson scored 10 points and grabbed 6 rebounds (was perfect 6-for-6 from the free throw line) in 37 minutes.
The Regular Season already ended.
Jackson has very impressive stats this year 24.1ppg, 10.2rpg, 5.8apg and 2.3spg in 16 games.
#4. Bruce Massey (6'3''-G-90, played in 2009-11, plays pro in Canada) was the major contributor in a 3-point Cape Breton Highlanders' victory against the Moncton Magic (17-9) 105-102 in the NBL Canada in Thursday night's game.
Massey scored 21 points and added 5 passes.
The Cape Breton Highlanders have 14-14 record this season.
It was his team's first victory after six consecutive loses.
It's Massey's first year with the team.
This season he has very high stats. Massey averages 24.1ppg, 10.2rpg, 5.8apg and 2.3spg.
#5. Marvin Phillips (6'7''-F-83, played in 2001-02, plays in Canada) contributed to a London Lightning's victory against the Kitchener-Waterloo Titans (13-13) 115-104 in the NBL Canada last Sunday.
He scored 11 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 23 minutes.
The London Lightning has 17-16 record this season.
It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row.
It's Phillips' first year with the team.
Phillips has very impressive stats this season 24.1ppg, 10.2rpg, 5.8apg and 2.3spg in 16 games.
