EuroBasket Pro Coyotes Weekly Update

Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top former Coyotes players who continue their career in pro basketball.



   #1. Sammy Yeager (6'4''-F-89, played in 2008-10, plays pro in Israel) could not help Afula (10-9) in their last game. Despite his good performance Afula was edged 90-88 at home by the second-ranked Maccabi Haifa. Yeager scored 14 points and added 9 passes in 35 minutes. It was Afula's fourth consecutive loss in a row. It's Yeager's first season with the team. He has individually a very good year with high stats. Yeager averages 17.6ppg, 5.4rpg, 4.7apg and 1.5spg in 10 games he played so far.

   #2. Juozas Balciunas (6'2''-G-94, played in 2013-15, plays in Lithuania) led Telsiai to a victory over the seventh-ranked Neptunas-Akvaservis Klaipeda (18-18) 89-77 in the Lithuanian NKL (second division) last Friday. Balciunas was MVP of the game. He recorded 16 points and added 4 assists; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Balciunas' first season in pro basketball. BC Telsiai (19-16) is placed fifth in Places 1-8 group. Balciunas has relatively good stats this season 11.3ppg, 3.1rpg and 2.5apg.

   #3. Vlatko Granic (6'9''-C-94, played in 2014-16, currently in United Kingdom) managed to help Manchester Giants in a 1-point victory against the closely-ranked Newcastle Eagles (13-7) 76-75 in the British BBL on Sunday night. He recorded only 2 points in 35 minutes. Manchester Giants (10-11) is placed sixth in the BBL. Granic has relatively good stats this year 12.1ppg, 6.8rpg and 1.1apg in 17 games.

   #4. Kevin Franceschi (6'3''-G-93, played in 2013-14, plays pro in Germany) was not able to help Coburg in their game against Bayer Giants (20-1) in the German ProB (third division). Despite his good performance in Saturday night's game He was the second best scorer with 11 points. Franceschi also added 7 rebounds and dished 3 assists. His team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical. Franceschi has relatively good stats this season 14.7ppg, 4.3rpg and 2.6apg.

Richard Amardi (6'9''-F-90, played in 2010-11) plays for Ahly Tripoli in Libyan D1
Anthony Roberson (6'5''-G, played in 2013-15) plays for Lenadores in Mexican LNBP
