EuroBasket Pro Lions Weekly Update

Here is the weekly review of the top performing Lions alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.



   #1. Lee Moore (6'4''-G-95, played in 2013-15, plays pro in Germany) led Mitteldeutscher BC Weissenfels to a victory against the ninth-ranked EnBW Ludwigsburg (10-10) 77-76 in the German BBL on Wednesday night. He scored 13 points, had 7 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 32 minutes. Mitteldeutscher BC Weissenfels (4-16) is placed 16th in the BBL. It was his team's first victory after seven consecutive loses. It's Moore's first season with the team. Moore has relatively good stats this year 12.1ppg, 4.7rpg, 2.5apg and 1.5spg.

   #2. Immanuel King (6'8''-F-96, played in 2014-16, plays in Bosnia) led Vogosca to a victory over the closely-ranked Kakanj (8-8) 79-67 in the Bosnia and Herzegovina Division I in Saturday night's game. He was MVP of the game. King had a double-double by scoring 12 points and getting 11 rebounds. He also added 5 blocks. KK Vogosca Sarajevo (7-7) is placed seventh in the Division I. It's King's first season with the team. King has relatively good stats this year 12.4ppg, 7.6rpg, 1.2bpg and 1.8spg in 13 games he played so far. King is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas.

   #3. Quinterian McConico (6'8''-C/F-95, played in 2013-14, currently in Luxembourg), who plays in the Luxembourg Total League could not help Musel Pikes (12-8) in their game last Saturday. Despite McConico's very good performance the third-placed Musel Pikes (12-8) was defeated 102-94 at home by the lower-ranked Larochette (#4) in the Places 7-14 group. He recorded a double-double by scoring 16 points and getting 13 rebounds. McConico also added 3 assists in 31 minutes. It's McConico's first season with the team. He has individually a very good year with high stats. McConico averages 21.9ppg, 14.5rpg and 1.3apg.

   #4. Derylton Hill (6'5''-F-94, played in 2015-16, plays pro in Finland) was the main contributor in a Raiders Basket's victory against the 12th-ranked PuHu Juniorit (2-15) crushing them 103-74 in the Finnish 1st Division (second division) on Sunday night. Hill was MVP of the game. He scored 26 points (!!!), had 9 boards, dished 4 assists and stole 4 balls; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Hill's first season in pro basketball. Raiders Basket Jarvenpaa (11-6) is placed fifth in Division B. Hill has very impressive stats this year 26.2ppg, 13.8rpg, 3.9apg and 3.1spg in 17 games.

Sidney Knox (5'10''-PG-95, played in 2014-15) played for Team Greece in the Eurobasket S.League last year
Jestin Lewis (6'1''-G-94, played in 2013-14) plays for Giessen 46ers II in German ProB
Mitchell Anderson (6'7''-F-89, played in 2009-10) played for Chicago Rising Stars in the The Basketball Tournament last year
