2014 IBA Fall Season Awards - Dec 26, 2014

After a four-month season the Independent Basketball Association announced its end of the season award winners.

Most Valuable Player: Lloyd Johnson (5'11''-G-85), Schenectady Legends

Best Sixth-Man: Lonnel Johnson (6'3''-G-86, college: Missouri Western), St.Louis Trotters

Schenectady Legends Win First IBA Championship - Dec 14, 2014

It was a wild, up-and-down the court championship game in Kankakee on Sunday with the regular season winner Schenectady Legends coming out on top 154-137 over the Kenosha Ballers. It was the second championship for the Legends franchise, first in the Independent Basketball Association (IBA). The Albany Legends won the International Basketball League (IBL) in their inaugural season of 2010.

Schenectady co-captain Lloyd Johnson (5'11''-G-85) scored 61 points, a new IBA championship game record, and was named ArenaSportsNet MVP.

The Legends (13-0) completed an undefeated fall season while Kenosha finished 9-5 overall.

Soldiers are the IBA Winter Champs!! - Jan 28, 2014

The St. Louis Trotters felt to Kankakee County Soldiers, 118-112 in IBA Winter Final Game. The Winter Final was played on Saturday, January 25 at the Wohl Recreation Center in St.Louis, Missouri. Thanks to this win, the Soldiers are now 6 time IBA Champions.
