South Carolina commit Jerzy Robinson (6'1''-G-2008) and USC signee Saniyah Hall (6'1''-G-2008) each scored 19 points as the USA women set new Nike Hoop Summit records for most points scored and largest margin of victory in a dominant 104-77 win over the World Select Team at Moda Center on Saturday. The Americans, coached by Meg Barber, left no doubt from the opening possession, racing out to an 8-0 lead and never looking back in a wire-to-wire demolition that extended USA's unbeaten record in the women's event to 4-0 since its introduction in 2023. Robinson, the No. 1 women's recruit heading to South Carolina, showcased the scoring ability and competitive fire that has made her one of the most anticipated college freshmen in years. Hall, who earned MVP honours at the McDonald's All-American Game just 11 days earlier, was equally impressive as the duo combined for 38 points to spearhead the USA attack.
The World Select Team, coached by New Zealand's Jillian Harmon — a former Stanford standout and Olympian who now serves as director of NBA Basketball School France — fought hard but were overwhelmed by the Americans' depth and athleticism. Canada's Savvy Swords led the World with 14 points, while Australia's Sitaya Fagan (6'3''-F-2008) added 15 in the defeat. UConn-bound Olivia Vukosa, the Gatorade National Girls Basketball Player of the Year who made history as a three-time Hoop Summit participant representing the World team (holding Croatian eligibility), was among the international standouts. Serbian prospect Jovana Popovic (5'8''-G-2007), also headed to UConn, featured alongside Belgian prospect Jada Lynch, Swedish-Nigerian Ogechi Okeke and French talents Emma Broliron (5'6''-G-2008) and Kathy-Emma Otto (6'2''-F-2008) on a World roster that showcased the growing global depth of women's basketball talent. The 104 points and 27-point winning margin both surpassed the previous records set in the event's brief women's history, underlining the remarkable quality assembled on the USA roster — many of whom had previously won gold together at the 2025 FIBA U19 Women's World Cup and the 2024 FIBA U17 Women's World Cup.
