Saniyah Hall (6'1''-G-2008), the No. 1 overall prospect in the 2026 women's class, poured in a game-high 21 points on 8-of-18 shooting to earn MVP honors as the East pulled away from the West 91-71 in the 25th edition of the McDonald's All-American Girls Game at Desert Diamond Arena on Tuesday. The USC-bound combo guard from SPIRE Academy had 13 of her points in the first half to set the tone, then added key baskets in the third and fourth quarters as the East turned a competitive game into a rout. Hall becomes the third consecutive top-ranked recruit heading to USC, following JuJu Watkins (6'2''-G-2005, college: USA NT U16) and Jazzy Davidson (6'1''-G). The West actually led 20-15 after the first quarter, with Notre Dame signee Jacy Abii banking in a three-pointer at the buzzer to cap a strong opening period. But the East seized control behind Hall and a deep supporting cast that proved too much for the West to handle. North Carolina signee Kate Harpring (5'11''-G-2008), the No. 2 overall recruit in the class, contributed 14 points and multiple driving layups before leaving with a shoulder injury — an ailment she has dealt with previously in her career. She returned to the bench with her shoulder wrapped but the East barely missed a beat in her absence. Maryland commit Jordyn Jackson (5'4''-G-2000) added 12 points, including a fadeaway mid-range jumper that pushed the East lead to 10 in the fourth quarter. UConn signee Olivia Vukosa (6'5''-PF-2008) and Kentucky signee Emily McDonald (5'10''-G) provided further reinforcements as the East outscored the West 26-15 in the final period to turn a manageable deficit into a 20-point blowout.
Texas signee Brihanna Crittendon fought hard to keep the West in contention, finishing with 11 points — including a three-point play off an offensive rebound — alongside fellow Texas commit Aaliah Spaight, who also had 11. Tennessee-bound Oliviyah Edwards was a force on the glass for the West with eight points, a game-high 14 rebounds and two blocks, but the turnovers piled up down the stretch and the East's firepower was simply overwhelming. South Carolina signee Jerzy Robinson had a quiet night, connecting on a stepback mid-range jumper for her first basket, while Kentucky commit Maddyn Greenway made a defensive impact for the East by taking two charges in the opening quarter. The showcase served as a fitting curtain call for the 2026 class, with 20 of the top 25 overall prospects in the cycle taking the court on a night that once again underscored the growing depth of talent in women's basketball.
