South Dakota women's basketball coach Carrie Eighmey is pleased to announce the signing of Karly Jusczak to a National Letter of Intent. "We are extremely excited about Karly's future as a Coyote," said Eighmey. "She has great length and size. She's also very physical and versatile. She's capable of scoring in various ways which makes her a tough matchup." A 6-foot-1 power forward from Pine City, Minnesota, Jusczak was the Great River Conference MVP in 2022, a four-time all-conference honoree and a three-time all-section team selection. She helped Pine City High School capture four conference titles in her prep career. She averaged 27.1 points, 14.6 rebounds and 2.1 blocks during her senior season. She once put up a career high 63 points in a game. Jusczak totaled 2,028 points and 1,197 rebounds during her prep career. She also captured a pair of state championships with her North Tartan AAU squad. An honor roll student and member of the National Honor Society, Jusczak plans to major in health sciences at South Dakota. She joins Hannah Coons (Kiefer, Oklahoma), Gabby Wilke (Beaver Dam, Wisconsin), Ava Cossette (Maple Grove, Minnesota) and Viki Matulevicius (Willowbrook, Illinois) in the incoming freshman class. The Coyotes have also added a pair of transfers in Ruthie Loomis-Goltl (Colorado) and Madison Hillman (North Iowa Area CC) to next year's roster.
