The Balling Brothers put together a strong, balanced offensive performance on Sunday afternoon, pulling away for a 130–115 victory over the NC Coyotes at Discovery Charter. With the win, Balling Brothers improve to 3-3 on the season, while the Coyotes fall to 2-5. Balling Brothers set the tone early, winning the first half 71–53 behind efficient shooting and consistent scoring across the board. They carried that momentum throughout the game, matching every Coyotes push and closing strong with a 34-point fourth quarter to seal the win. Leading the way for Balling Brothers was Josh Williams (6'2''-G, college: UAM), who delivered a dominant performance with 36 points, shooting an efficient 12-of-25 from the field and 12-of-13 from the free throw line. He was complemented by Travis Cooper (6'5''-F, college: ENMU), who added 27 points and 18 rebounds, controlling the paint on both ends and providing a major presence on the glass. The White brothers also played key roles in the victory. Shakeem White (5'11''-PG, college: Erskine) finished with 21 points, while Shaquille White added 20 points, helping stretch the floor and keep the offense flowing. Balling Brothers shot an impressive 51.5% from the field as a team and knocked down timely shots to maintain control throughout. For the Coyotes, Will Griffin (5'8''-G, college: Greensboro) led the charge with 25 points on highly efficient shooting, while Corey Evans (6'4''-G-1987, college: CCU) contributed 23 points and Donovan Evans (5'9''-G, college: Catawba Valley) added 20 points. Despite solid individual efforts, the Coyotes struggled to keep pace defensively, allowing Balling Brothers to shoot over 50% from the field. The Coyotes showed fight in the third quarter, outscoring Balling Brothers 36–25, but were unable to sustain that momentum as Balling Brothers responded in the final period to put the game out of reach.
Balling Brothers’ balanced attack, strong rebounding edge (54–48), and efficiency from both the field and free throw line proved to be the difference as they even their record at 3-3 heading into their next matchup.
